Designed for up to 4 people, we offer you space to relax and breathe deeply with your own sauna in the bathroom and an outdoor hot tub on the covered terrace. The architecture, which focuses on valuable visual axes, opens up the space to the nearby estate forest. Nature in view, whether from the sauna, the bedroom or the cosy couch - always close to the estate forest, the seasons and yet surrounded by a room with a large kitchen, a crackling open fire and cosy reading corners. The forest hut has its own outdoor whirlpool and an outdoor sauna. Both can only be booked in combination. The price depends on the number of persons and the length of stay. The calculation is based on the number of people staying overnight. Please enquire about the price when booking!  
  
At the Forstgut you only experience "home-made" - the programme is determined by nature and your desire, mood and creativity. Let us inspire you to enjoy a completely normal holiday.  
  
Golfing, hiking, horse riding, cycling, archery, mushroom picking, observing animals, picking flowers, taking photos, relaxing, savouring, taking a deep breath, having fun, barbecuing, picnicking, playing badminton.... Be human. Ski areas in the immediate vicinity: The two ski areas Rusel (with Haussteinlift) and Geißkopf (Geißkopfbahn, Parallellift, Nordhanglift, Riegellift, Forsthauslift and Babylift) are each 10 to 15 minutes away and are operated by the Geißkopfbahn. The main advantage for skiers is the introduction of electronic reading systems, so that in future one lift ticket will be valid for both ski areas. The Geißkopf ski area (1100 m) with 6 lifts and 8 runs of varying difficulty has 4 ski and snowboard schools on site. A fun park completes the offer. The Forsthaus downhill run, Geißkopf men's downhill run and Nordhang downhill run are covered with artificial snow. A floodlight system on the 1150 metre-long main run allows skiing on the Geißkopf on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until 9.30 pm. Floodlight skiing is also possible on the Rusel on the same days. Golf courses: 10 minutes away is the 18-hole course of the Deggendorf Golf Club on the plateau of the Rusel Pass at an altitude of 840 metres. A driving range and a 3-hole practice course are available. In the season from April to November, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the terrace of the clubhouse after your game. The Oberzwieselau golf course is located in a hilly park landscape about 20 kilometres away. The clubhouse with its terrace forms the centre of an 18-hole championship course harmoniously embedded in the landscape. Bavarian Forest National Park: The Bavarian Forest National Park is only 25 kilometres away. It was opened in 1970 as the first national park in Germany and protects a unique forest and low mountain range landscape on the border with the Czech Republic. Expanded in 1997, the national park now covers an area of over 24,000 hectares. Almost the entire area of the national park is covered by extensive forests, which today are uniquely left to develop largely uninfluenced by man. The action of natural environmental forces and the undisturbed dynamics of the biotic communities are guaranteed. In the national park you can experience unspoilt nature in an impressive way. It offers ideal conditions for exploring the natural processes in nature and learning about nature.
