Enjoy the tranquility and quiet surround of this superb location near the Sacramento river and trails. Be independent in your own space in this King deluxe master studio. Unwind and take a long soak in the spa bath, enjoy 'eating in' using your private little kitchenette, sit at the breakfast bar and enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of organic coffee provided by your host. Look out to the tranquil back garden and water fountains, or relax on your own porch with outdoor chairs/small table . But most of all, get a good night's sleep on a very comfortable cal king bed! NB. You studio is your own private space with your own external access down the side of our house. It is connected to our house by a wall, and the back lawn is a shared space. The kitchen has a sink, breakfast bar, counter space and everything you need to prepare your meals; a decent sized fridge you can stock up, microwave, coffee pot, blender, small portable oven, induction cooking element with pots, utensils, crockery and glassware. In the room is a sofa and coffee table for you to relax, sip on your freshly roasted coffee as you look out over the back garden. The small dining room table with two chairs is great for eating meals or a work desk. Karina is a coffee snob and owned her own cafe in New Zealand, so roasts her own unique blend of organic coffee at home which guests love! Karina thinks it's the best coffee in Redding!... Come and see what you think ;) This is a great place to stay for those wanting a luxury retreat, conference attendees, cyclists, nature/outdoor lovers, dog owners (if you have a furry friend, please let us know to get pre-approval); and allows you to be self contained cooking meals in rather than having to eat out all the time. It is a 4.8 mile drive to Bethel. For your entertainment there is a television in the room with access to netflix, hulu, sling, disney plus and amazon prime. No shortage of movies to watch! There is good wifi internet (can do video zoom calls etc), central air conditioning, off street parking outside (to the right of the garage), and access to our laundry room by request on the other side of the door from your kitchenette. We love to host and enjoy getting to know our guests. We also respect your privacy and need for space. We are available to answer any local questions you may have. We came to visit my wife’s parents and needed a place close by with fast internet so we could work, and this spot delivered on everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and easy to cook in. We made rice and turkey with veggies, had plenty of room in the fridge, and even had our choice of two coffee setups. We used the coffee pot for our ground coffee, and it worked great. The studio had everything we needed, from kitchenware to paper towels to lots of clean bath towels. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to get real work done. The internet was fast and reliable, and the TV had tons of channels and apps. The air conditioning kept the place perfectly cool, and the backyard was peaceful and inviting. They also have a really cool Jacuzzi bath. We’re more shower people, though, and the shower was awesome. It has a high shower-head, like the rain type styles, and the hot water kicked in within seconds. Our hosts were the best part. Friendly, welcoming, and always available, though we never had to ask for a thing. Overall, a fantastic stay and a place we’d happily book again. Thank you so much. ##### Cory M. It was perfect size for 2 adults and our 2 dogs. We did feel some awkwardness having to encrouch in the owners backyard and living space since the yard is free range and dogs need to walk everywhere before finding the right spot. We might have felt more at ease if the yard was partitioned for the guest suite only but definitely wpuld recommend and will book on our future trips to Redding. ##### Amy F. The neighborhood is quiet, and the unit is lovely. Karina is very friendly and helpful, letting us use the washer and dryer and providing detergent. It was quiet, the bed was excellent, as was the bathroom. The location was a stone throw away from the river, and the trails there are just glorious to walk. Hosts were really great. ##### Darlene S.
