« No instruction and no one upon arrival. A nice couple showed up later with all instructions, an email prior arrival would have been appreciated. Drapes in the bed room would be nice, the sun is up early à this period of the year! besides that, all perfect would love to go back for a week next year. »

« This was the perfect place for 2 couples. We each had our own space and bathroom with a common area. The place itself was superclean and enjoyable. Great lake views! The owners are very thoughtful of their guests. The only suggestion we all agreed on was the need for comfortable furniture on the deck and a little debugging/decob webbing outside. Other than that this would make this 5 stars all the way around. »

« The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. « The perfect weekend get away. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. The host was super thoughtful and left personal touches related to our stay during the 2024 exlipse, including glases to watch the eclipse with. We spent our weekend hanging out on the dock fishing, watching the array of ducks, herons and swans swim in the inlet and enjoying a lakeside fire in the evening. The neighbors were incredibly friendly as well. Also a big perk, the home is centrally located to numerous great beaches...

« We loved everything about this charming home. The view was amazing, the home was immaculate and beautifully appointed and the location, surrounded by nature was tranquil and a great place to walk. The kitchen had everything you need and all kitchen items and appliances were is “like new” condition. The beds were comfortable. Sandy was a gracious host and was available when we had a question. Could not make a higher recommendation! »

« The cottage was very clean upon arrival and you can tell they are meticulous with their maintenance of the property. Beds were all comfortable and bathroom was well stocked with towels & tp. « Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again. »
