« The house and grounds are beautiful, especially if you appreciate old historic houses. Issues did arise ut Chelsi responded very quickly. The kitchen is modern w room for lots of cooks. We made use of most of the amenities -pool, sauna, theater room. Location is great- near beach and rail trail, and short distance to rye, Portsmouth, kittery . It worked perfectly for our college roommate reunion. »

« We had such a great time at Blue Chill Cottage! The location was awesome—just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it super easy with the kids. We really enjoyed having dinner out on the deck, and one night we even got to watch fireworks from there, which was such a fun surprise. The place was the perfect size for our family of four, and it had everything we needed. The hosts were also really quick to respond anytime we had a question. Would definitely stay here again! »

« We had a great stay overall! The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the property itself was amazing – clean, comfortable, spacious, and very quiet. We had read some comments about bugs and cleanliness issues, but in our experience (mid-August) the house was literally spotless, and we didn’t see a single bug. That said, we were a bit disappointed to find that some of the main amenities advertised were not available. The swimming pool and spa were both empty, and the fire pit was blocked off....

« These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again. »

« The property was beautiful and clean and we had such a relaxing stay! The owners were helpful and courteous but gave you your space to enjoy. My kids really enjoyed themselves! My youngest especially loved their corgis! They welcomed us with homemade banana bread (delicious!) and provided everything we needed. Smooth check in, and just an overall great stay! We will be back for sure! »

« Notre séjour a été tout simplement parfait !! La maison est charmante et très chaleureuse. Nous nous sommes sentis “chez-nous” dès notre arrivée. « The cottage on Mendums Pond is a delightful, wonderfully furnished extended A-frame situated on a quiet road, overlooking a beautiful pond and natural view. Very quiet and peaceful, yet within 5 minutes of sites, shops, and conveniences. Everything you need is within the home, including AC and TV. The owner kept in touch and was very helpful with questions. The place was very clean and neat, and there were games and puzzles available. We loved our time here and will return in the future. »
