House could use a little bit of upkeep/repairs but to be expected with a house thats always listed. Unfortunately there was no one to directly contact to voice our concerns. We did find out, after booking through VRBO that this is managed through a management company vs individual which is fine, but it was really hard to get in touch with someone when we had questions. No booklet left with instructions on how to work the electronics in the house, very minimal linens available. We got checkout instructions too late as we were on the road hours before checkout time. ##### Jill S. Originally, we booked a hotel for our 9 days in Rapid City, to do the local tourist thing. When we arrived at our hotel, an almost 100 year old Hilton property downtown, we were terribly disappointed for multiple reasons, but more especially the cleanliness. It was awful. After 2 nights in the hotel, I suggested that we look at VRBO, as we have booked many homes via VRBO in the past. That is when we found this property. When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised. It was even nicer than the pictures on the VRBO website. The home is amazing. It is clean, spacious and beautifully appointed. Vacasa is the tenant service that the homeowner uses and they could not have been easier to deal with. If you are planning a trip to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and all of the other tourist destinations in the Rapid City area, do yourself a favor and book this property. You will not be sorry.
