After a day of Black Hills adventuring enjoy dinner & a movie, or a relaxing soak in the hot tub. With luxury mattresses & linens you will be sure to leave feeling refreshed. Located less than a mile from restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and hiking in the Skyline Wilderness. Minutes from SDSM&T, Monument Health, the Civic Center, Mt Rushmore Rd the gateway to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and more! This simple house is the perfect landing pad to rejuvenate you for all your Black Hills adventuring. It's a two level 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom house. Both bedrooms are located on the second level. The master bedroom sports a king memory foam bed with organic bamboo sheets. The second bedroom offers a queen memory foam bed with organic bamboo sheets. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, dishes, and all that you'll need to cook your own meal. A keurig coffee machine greets you in the morning with a variety of pods to try. If you prefer going out for coffee simply take a stroll downtown to Harriet and Oak for an amazing espresso. The beautiful living room seating double as a conversation area or cozy movie night setting. The TV uses Roku which allows you to log into your accounts and stream your favorite shows. The window desk offers work time with a view and reliable wifi. Outside you'll find a propane grill and an outdoor table with chairs where you can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. After dinner soak in the warm hot tub and allow your muscles and mind to relax before a great night's sleep. Guests will have access to house and fenced in back yard area. There is one parking spot available in front of the house and ample street parking. The historic district offers beautiful scenery for a morning stroll or after dinner walk. Hiking and walking trails in the beautiful Skyline Wilderness Park are a couple blocks west up nearby St. Cloud Street. Vacation is supposed to be relaxing, fun, and a time to create special memories with those you love. That's why we do not include a laundry list of cleaning requirements before you leave. Our desire is that you have a refreshing stay and those memories continue to bring you joy for years to come. Lana was very intuitive with her communication and readiness to provide support as needed. The house was so charming. Some of our hotels weve stayed in almost like a fancy place where you dont want to mess things up. We didn't mess things up but felt like we were home. There were puzzles and blocks and we were able to watch movies on the streaming services. My daughter and I enjoyed the hottub it was clean, easy to use and Lana left clear details on howto keep things that way. We especially loved being centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. We took our 2 dogs and toys and bowls were provided. The house has so much character and has been modernly updated with any and all conveniences a person could want or need. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and the living space so comfortable as well. Backyard space and hot tub was perfect. Our dog, who was a good sport having to be in the car so long loved running in the fenced yard. Our host was great to work with though we didn’t need to contact her once we arrived as there was nothing we didn’t have. Great instructions and local tips provided too. Dishwashing pods are provided, along with soaps, shampoo and conditioner, blow dryer and a curling iron in the bathroom. Don’t forget to check out the board games in the living room.
