We were not disappointed! The home has a beautiful view of the western sky (think sunsets!), a large deck, and we found camping chairs in the cellar. The home itself was very clean, and wifi was strong. I was able to remote into work for a few long conference calls, and never dropped a moment. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the indoor temperature was pleasant. Pantry was well stocked, and everything we needed was provided. Situations out of control for the owner was that there was loud construction next next door all day long. The lawn people came early (07:45). Other concerns were the crumbs and some kind of over-the-counter gel pill under the red bookcase in the kitchen that the dogs almost ate. Nether washer or dryer were in working condition. The washer did get our clothes wet so we wrung them out and hung them off the deck to dry. We always come to Rangely to hike and had a lovely time doing just that! If I were to design a place for myself, it would be quite similar. Nice spot to look see the lake and mountains. Minor things to fix: Shade in bedroom (street side window) Batteries for tv (forgot to get them) Light over stove Shower valve may need a little work. Very relaxing spot to be. Enjoyed it. There was construction going on next door and across the street. Home is Very cramped w/lots of tchotchkes. Bed is a full and very tight BR space. Feb 25, 2019 #### Eagles Ledge review My experience with both Morton Furbish and our rental at Eagles Ledge were both excellent. The house was perfect for a small family and was a bit nicer than I had expected. The house was clean, had solid amenities, and a fantastic view of the lake. The weekend we went had a plenty of snow. The only suggestion I would make for potential new renters is having a 4 weel drive vehicle would be beneficial when the snow is abundant. We have a 4x4 truck so we had no issues, but someone in a car might...nobody's fault here, just some steep snow covered roads coming to the house and a steep driveway.
