The house was close and in walking distance to downtown. We were greeted with deer on the property most mornings. The house itself was nice and spacious but there were ants in the kitchen, evidence of mice in the garage and something in the ceiling in the upstairs queen bedroom. Not all beds were comfortable but the convenience of the linen package was nice. The description should be updated to note that the pond is not swimmable but you can canoe or kayak once you get over the rocky shore. Overall, we enjoyed our stay visiting local swimming spots, scenic views and enjoying the large yard and porch at night. ##### Kerry W. My husband and I stayed with our dog for 3 nights. The house is spacious with many rooms, would also be very comfortable for a large family. We loved the wood walls and ceiling, and everything felt very cozy. We used the canoe on the property and paddled around the pond. I texted the property manager a few times with questions and she was very prompt with answers and assistance.
