Formerly part of the Harpo Marx estate, it was designed by renown designer Steven Chase. Private, serene and secure you will experience resort style living in this incredible estate. OUTDOOR AREA Outside, you can swim and lounge around the beautiful Spanish tiled pool, grill and eat an amazing meal under the pergola as you watch the sun set over the mountains, or spark up conversation under the stars around the outdoor fire table. There are 6 cushioned chaise lounge chairs with umbrellas that flank the large saline pool, custom spa and 2 Frontgate pool floats for lazy afternoons. The patio area brings many indoor amenities outside, including the outdoor covered eating area, Ping pong table, barbecue and Wi-Fi located throughout the property. Fruit trees line the backyard, including Meyer lemons (amazing and sweet), Tangelos, a Mexican lime tree for your Key Lime pie and Gin & Tonics for happy hour, and lemon for cooking and Lemonade!! INSIDE LIVING AREA This home’s inviting open floor plan and California Casual décor offers a soothing relaxed lifestyle. From almost every room, large glass floor to ceiling windows and sliders bring in light enhancing the large open concept living room and invite the beautiful outdoor and desert landscape into the home. The entryway opens to the great room with fireplace, large conversation and dining area (seats 8), and leads to the fully furnished cooks kitchen. The Kitchen features modern, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast counter, breakfast table for 4 and high-end cookware. Just off the main living area is a large family room with 65” flat screen TV and Bar. Watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Hulu, Paramount Plus—no login required! There is a built-in Sonos house stereo system for indoors only (there is a desert wide law no music allowed outdoors). The many conversation areas this house has is a big plus for groups and multi-generational families. SLEEPING AREAS The master bedroom comes with a beautiful king canopy bed, flat-screens TV, your own SPA room and access to it’s own private patio area and to the pool. The master bath has two vanities, a freestanding spa tub, walled in shower with a rainwater shower head and a separate toilet. The 2nd master bedroom features a comfortable modern king bed, Flat screen TV and a walk in closet, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet The 3rd guest bedroom has a king bed flat screen TV, spacious guest bathroom with double sinks and a large walk-in shower. The 4th guest bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, TV and ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub. All bedrooms have smart TV's, black out shades or curtains, fans,European linens and Public Goods toiletries. This home is pet friendly (we supply dog and cat beds, toys, and cages, if needed). It was a private compound with everything you can imagine and more! Very private, serene, and relaxing. We felt a great sense of calm when we walked in the door. A perfect place for couples, a girls retreat or a family. We loved that each bedroom had its own private bathroom plus a powder room and shower. Beds were super comfy. We couldn’t believe all the personal touches upon arrival. Above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. Most of the house is glass with a magnificent view of the mountains which we enjoyed every morning and evening on the patio. The pool was magical! We brought our dogs too and they enjoyed the front and backyards. The property is fully enclosed. There was even a closet dedicated to dog stuff! Louisa was super responsive and answered all of our questions. We were super sad when our stay ended and wish we could have stayed longer. Next time I plan on bringing our best couple friends, and have a longer stay, while lounging in the back yard, swimming, sunning and relaxing. It has enough bedrooms to sleep 4 couples. Wonderful pool, and lounge area as seen in photos. Great kitchen and dining areas. TV if you want to relax in side after a long day from pool. Far enough from the bustling city center, but close enough that it's not too far of a drive in. In the past I've stayed at hotels for a retreat, but I think this is our new go to spot in the desert. The layout of the house is wonderful for groups. You really feel like you can spread out, and not feel like you are stepping all over each other.
