Taken in Hov, Lofoten in Norway on 12/2/2016 after day after day of awful weather. Snow, sleet, gale.. you name it. We almost lost hope after days of not seeing the sky. We tried the night before without any success. And then this happened..it was all worth it.

This tiny surfing village in Norway has a population of 15. Surfers flock from all over the world to surf in this perfect wave condition. It is cold but the hardy do not seem to mind. On this particular evening the sky erupted in #green. I braved the frigid water as it reflected back onto the beach. The tide was rising rapidly but I was mesmerized by the #green lights of the sky dancing over my head. I could see the Milky Way, it was a wonderful discovery.
