However we did not realize there were an insane amount of stairs throughout the property and to get to our room was had to climb more than 80 steps. Be aware that this property is in the middle of jungle area so you may see animals from the balcony or even on the property! But with that also comes the potential for bugs ( some scarier than others). Rooms were decently clean but facilities a bit run down, we were not able to enjoy the pool. Due to the recent rain it had become a bit green. The restaurant was FANTASTIC we ate there for dinner once and breakfast once during our stay. Natasha is doing a great job with her business and is so easy to communicate with. The food is delicious and it was close to everything. The only downside is the slippery high ascending stairs. Your legs and arms get a workout from carrying luggage and/or a baby. The hotel is very unique, almost like an Airbnb. We loved having a fully functioning kitchen. The restaurant had live music and friendly staff. The price of the setting is that there are a lot of stairs! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was very very clean.
