It's short drive from the Galveston Island State Park, where you can either enjoy the beach or check out some nature on the bay side. « Bay Views Cottage was perfect. If cleanliness and child/dog friendly is important to you, then this is your place. Very kid/fur baby friendly - with gates to protect them from falling down the stairs or wondering off. The bikes and beach items were great to use and fun for the whole family. The location is great.
