« Having your own cabin is really nice. The kitchen was cute. The bathroom could use some updating. The shower stall didn’t have a light which made it very dark. The room also needed a new bed. The one was really old, but still had some comfort. »

« We had a very enjoyable stay at this home. Had everything we needed and close to everything! Some of our family came by and we enjoyed cooking out on the grill and watching bunnies, white squirrels and chipmunks playing around the yard!! Great place and would definitely go back!! »

« Loved this beautifully retored cottage in the historic district. It is well appointed with all the amenities in the most peaceful setting. Easy commute to restaurants and entertainment. We even saw a mama bear and 4 cubs on the property! Would definitely rent again. »

« We had a fantastic time! It is a green oasis in the city close to all attractions! We had a wonderful gas fireplace which came in handy since it got down to the 30’s during our stay. Great comfortable bed! The hosts were extremely attentive and we received sparkling wine and even a birthday cake!! We will be going back in the future ! »

« My sister and I stayed at this place shortly after my Husband died in 2021. It is the perfect size for 2 - 3 people or even 4 if you don’t mind just one bathroom and sharing beds. We came back with a friend to celebrate her granddaughter’s high school graduation with a small family dinner and games. »

« My partner and I really enjoyed staying at this place for the 2 nights we are in town. Has amazing views and wild life all over. Wild turkeys and cute little bears and racoons (: Highly recommend. Only issue I had that was more of a personal problem because of my height (I'm 6'6") is that I couldn't fit in either beds (they're full size) so if you are tall like me, I'd recommend bringing an airmatress, or what I did was just take out the couch bed and put the cushions together and sleep on them. »

« We were only here for a short time and mainly just needed a place to sleep. The hot tub and location attracted us and was exactly what we needed during our stay. Location was perfect for getting downtown, and the hot tub was working and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and was very clean. The house is right next to a really great restaurant that we walked to for dinner and loved. Our only negative was that both beds were very uncomfortable and did not feel clean....

« This was the perfect base camp for a few days of exploring around Asheville and Chimney Rock. We loved coming back to the relax on the front porch or by the stream and were very thankful to be able to add a third night to our original booking. We are in a road trip from Maine to Georgia, and the hot tub also made for a nice way to relax while on the road. As I write this review from a roadside hotel near Atlanta, I miss the quiet babble of the stream… »

« Although close to a main thoroughfare, which did not effect us at all. It was quiet, clean and a very nice sized property to enjoy, including a lake and pond for fishing with boats to utilize on the lake. It has a nice deck overlooking the lake to enjoy with friends and family. There's a grill, outdoor games, and is an all around nice place to gather. I will be looking into this property again for future family get togethers. »

« My communication with Carl and Terri prior to and during our stay always resulted in a prompt reply. The TV was tricky to operate, directions would have helped. Location was ideal, easy to walk to downtown. We tried a few restaurants on the list of recommendations and they were very good. We would recommend the cozy cottage to others! »
