A notre arrivée nous n’avons pas eu la chambre que nous avions réserver. (Standard,1 grd lit un balcon) Nous avons eu à la place une chambre standard sans balcon, avec fenêtre qui donne sur les couloirs et des stores casser, resultats chambres très sombres !! Les fenêtres se ferme à peine. Je le fait constater, la première fois on me répond que c’est un balcon commun. Deuxième fois je demande à ce qu’on vérifie ma réservation, effectivement ils se sont trompées mais plus de place dans l’hôtel. Pour s’excuser ils nous offrent les repas midi et soir. Arrivée le soir, la serveuse a dis qu’on voulait pas manger, alors qu’on lui avait bien expliquer, donc à 21h on s’est retrouver avec le problème de chercher un restaurant. Le lendemain soir, 19h50 on nous dis que la cuisine est fermée ! Je fait comprendre mon mécontentement et le cuisinier accepte par la suite. Nous avons trouvé ça très limite pour un hôtel 3\*, malgré le personnel de la réception gentils. Il est pourtant bien située à proximité de là plages. Le ménage pendant le séjour n’a pas était fait, donc pas de réassort de papier toilette par exemple et 0 bouteille d’eau à disposition dans la chambre. La musique tourne une grosse partie de la nuit sans clients, chambre mal insonorisée, vous entendez tout. A 7h45 quelqu’un a essayer de rentrer dans notre chambre, femme de ménage ? Pour un départ à 12h cela me parait tôt. Je ne recommanderais cet hôtel pour dépanner une nuit ou deux. Aux dernières nouvelles, il s’appelle maintenant Greencoast mais il aurait changé 4 fois de nom au cours de l’année... ce qui est très problématique pour le trouver avec votre gps d’autant que le poste de police situé à 20m ne le connaît pas !! Sinon c’est un petit hôtel sympathique pour une nuit ou deux mais pas plus. Le personnel fait des efforts et la chambre est correcte sauf la salle de bain qui laisse vraiment à désirer. The location of this hotel to the beach is excellent. The hotel itself is let down badly by certain staff members and the manager. On arrival to the apartment we booked we found there to be no plates or cutlery what so ever in the kitchen, when I went to reception to ask for some the boy on reception told me they were not included I asked if they could provide some and even offered to pay or leave a deposit and he still said no. I asked him to contact the manager which he did on the phone and they proceeded to laugh and ridicule me not realising that I speak Spanish and understood everything they were saying! I asked to speak to the manager and he gave me the phone and he told me I should have brought cutlery plates and utensils with me from the UK!! We ended up having to go buy them. There were no towels in the apartment and when we asked for some there were full of stains and grubby so we went out and bought towels as well as we didn’t want to use there grubby ones. One of the bedroom windows was broken and didn’t shut there was a one once gap. There were 2 plug sockets hanging off the wall. The whole property was very run down and needs a lot of work to bring it up to even safety standards and in my opinion would benefit from new management who at least have good customer care. Al llegar al hotel realice el chekin me dieron una habitacion que parecia un cuarto de un Motel mega sencillo todo blanco, la cama tenia unas sabanas llena de arena y hasta pelos humanos, que para mi no habian cambiado las sabanas, el baño las cerraduras de la ducha mohosas y a penas salia agua, la misma noche durmiendo la cama se cayo al suelo "Desastre", la Tv no funcionaba " En todo el hotel no tiene servicio de televisión ni locales", no tiene un teléfono en la habitación, no tienen articulos como Jabón para el cabello, no tenia una caja de seguridad, cuando uno dialoga con los empleados y no se atreven hablar con uno, se ven intimidados, y no le resuelven. El servicio del desayuno solo tenia "omellete, sándwich, cafe de maquina y jugo de maquina" Si pedias agua te la cobraban. De mi parte no me gusto nada. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Checkin. However, there are few things to be mindful for those that are visiting this hotel as an English speaking traveler. First of all, the property is not huge and as result there is limited beach front space available. However, the staff works diligently to maintain the property and there's always someone friendly at the front desk to help with any request you may have. It's not a 5 star resort, but its a cute little hotel where you can setup and have the option to check out the beach or local shops. Having breakfast available as part of the stay is also handy. Second, IF you only speak English, it's a little tough to communicate as most of the staff are not very fluent (including the bar). In that case, ask for Danna at the front desk who speaks English very well and was extremely helpful! She was kind enough to help us with various translation needs. Lastly, the hotel is located at the end of the street and its sometimes hard to find. There's another Hotel Checkin nearby and that leads to some confusion about the location. This could be challenging if you're trying to locate the hotel or if using Uber. Overall, my family really enjoyed the stay and consider this hotel as a small gem at the Cortecito beach.
