The property was gorgeous, the pool was warm, and the weather was perfect. The view was worth every cent. A few things to note: the stove is not easy to light, you have to use a lighter. Also, the door handle/lock was very fidgety. Took us multiple tries to unlock the door to get in (you have to pull the door forwards and unlock). The pool hours are 8am-8pm which was a little disappointing, since we wanted to swim at night. The surrounding neighborhood is very run down and has a horrible odor problem. There are plenty of stores, shops and markets to check out right around the property, however constant construction/Odor makes it hard to navigate. We highly recommend citrus, a restaurant nearby. This was collectively our favorite place to eat. Overall this place was absolutely gorgeous, me and my family had a wonderful stay! ##### Patrick H. Overall, the vacation was wonderful! It was all that we wanted: relaxation, sun, water, good food and drinks! Pro: The apartment's location is the best. You have the best view of the gorgeous pool and the beach. Sitting on the balcony with the breeze and your favorite drink was the best. The staff at Costa Atlantica (who are not the one's we rented from- GoPuntaCana is the one you are renting from) were so very nice and helpful. The staff from GoPuntaCana were very fast in responding to your needs. The Costa Atlantica complex grounds are very well maintained and with security on the beach and street entrances. The salt water pool is beautiful. One of the best pools to enjoy anytime of the day. There are mini marts and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. We found the restaurants had extremely good service and quality of food. Our favorites were Citrus, La Bruja and Jellyfish. Cons The apartment needs much love and care. There are maintenance issues with walls and cabinets, furnishing and window treatments (take eye mask). It feels like it has been neglected for a little bit. The air conditioning and hot water heater had issues that should have been resolved before we got there but eventually were resolved. The location of Costa Atlantica complex is on roads with many needs. There are full of potholes and very little room for pedestrians to walk. ##### Mary N. Ever day we were greeted with sincere smiles, holas, handshakes and cheer. The staff in and around the property were polite and genuine - it really made us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. The beach front and access to the water was also really nice, there is a small shower to wash the sand off before returning in. Beach chairs, loungers, palm tree umbrellas were plentiful. The only part that should be addressed is there are remnants of a dock or structure in the water that would be easy for small ones to get on, sharp edges. The condo itself is wonderful - it is huge inside, high ceilings, large rooms and comfortable beds. Everything is as listed in the description with the exception of some kitchen items. As the listing states, there is no food items left behind. No salt/pepper, sugar, no left-overs at all. If you plan to cook while there, you would need everything. There are 3 small stores within easy walking distance that can supply everything you might need. they too are super friendly and helpful. Want the absolute best driver while there? Call on Victor Santana. GoPunta will help connect you. He was indispensable in getting us around, to/from the airport, local beaches, very reasonable rates, his vehicles were in great shape and safe. Clean beach, and there was lots of security around. Restaurant next door will sell you drinks. Lots of chairs and umbrellas available at no charge. There were beach vendors, but everyone was very polite. Management company was very responsive to questions, etc. Staff was friendly. We felt safe in the neighborhood and on the beach. We could walk to half a dozen restaurants, a couple of convenience stores, and a good small grocery store. You need to order water to be delivered. Ask at the desk. The condo itself really needs some updating and refreshing. The kitchen is in serviceable but rough shape. There were chunks missing out of the lower cabinets, and watch out for the dishwasher door - it falls open and is heavy. Only 2 cycles worked on the dishwasher, but it got the job done. The condo only had the minimum of cups, dishes, etc. and no spices, dishwasher soap, etc. The kitchen was clean, and the appliances look pretty new. Lighting is pretty dim in the bathrooms, especially. Electricity is quite expensive there, so that may account for the tiny led lights. There is a safe in the primary bedroom that works, and a tv in there. No tv in the other two bedrooms. I think the unit may be for sale, and hopefully the new owner will do some refreshing. The size is great, our group of 5 had plenty of room. If you can overlook a few things, this is a good value and an awesome location. ##### Renee G. Costa Atlantica is my favorite place to stay. Perfect location. The unit was very clean and has a perfect view of the pool and the beach. We never tired of the ocean view or the sound of crashing waves nearby. The location was also ideal for walking to numerous tasty restaurants. Highly recommend this property with 3 bedrooms with their own private baths, along with an additional two more baths. It was an ideal rental with a super responsive management team. The condo was very nice, spacious and clean. It was accessible to the beach and other restaurants that surrounded the facility. The security and people around were extremely nice and welcoming and when ever we needed anything everyone was eager to help. We enjoyed staying in this nice, clean, safe and friendly environment. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed the property, amenities and location. It is within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, bars and shops. Everyone on site was nice and helpful; we really appreciated the around-the-clock security, though we felt safe walking everywhere, even at night. Communication with the on-site property manager and the host was excellent with very fast responses. We had no issues with the property. The only thing I warn about is that the mattresses are firm but we used the extra pillows provided for support. I am used to a very soft pillow top mattress but this was not anything to detract from the star rating. ☺️ We would definitely stay here again. ##### Stephanie B. We especially like the restaurant Citrus...had a couple awesome meals there.We found the large deck with ample seating and great ocean view to be a great place to spend our evenings playing games. The property manage goes the extra mile and are very responsive. The apartment is perfect specially if you’re traveling with family or couples The rooms are nice and comfortable with their own bathroom and privacy. The apartment itself is 6 starts. Why am I giving 4 starts then?; the location of the apartment is somehow sensitive to rain and flooding, while we stayed the streets were flooded and we did not have access to places that were within walking distance. There is a small shopping center with several great restaurants: Citrix and Captain Hook among then. This last one best fresh local food, price and view. The beach is very nice but check for seaweed it seems that this a seasonal problem and will be limiting your capacity to fully enjoying the beach. ##### tomas m. The property was clean and well stocked. The pool and beach were beautiful!! The staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. You are able to walk to the market and many restraunts!! We did have one issue in the middle of the night. We woke at 2am to a sink pipe that had ruptured and we had a lot of water on the condo floor. They had two maintenance people there within 10 minutes who fixed and cleaned up the mess. This could of happened to anyone so I am not faulting them for this. I was truly impressed in how the situation was handled!! We are definitely going to rent here in the future!! ##### Michelle M.
