Guests and friends have never had an issue with their cars. The neighborhood Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, one of Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our small cobblestone alley is home to long-time Mexican families, many single middle-aged to older women, and a few gay men — a close-knit community where neighbors know each other and look out for one another. Getting around The Romantic Zone, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within walking distance—most places are 5–25 minutes away on foot. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required). Parking is not allowed on Arroyo del Pedregoso, but free street parking is available on nearby streets.
