We have been vacationing in PV for 20+ years so we had a general idea of what we were getting into when we booked a trip at the last minute. We knew the location was right where we wanted to be and it met our main criteria of being right on the beach. We were not disappointed. The condo is typical 'old school' PV condo. Overall we had a nice stay. Our main complaint is that the kitchen and bathrooms were not well maintained. Rusty appliances, the inside of the refrigerator was quite dirty, cabinets weren't real clean. We usually find things in the cabinets that previous renters have left and there was nothing but a salt and pepper shaker and they didn't have salt or pepper in them. And the bathrooms had nice tiled showers but they were covered in soap scum. Staff at the front desk were awesome. View was perfect and we did have a great vacation. ##### Michael S. About a dozen men with jack hammers are tearing down a building across the street. The construction noise was obtrusive, persistent and unrelenting during the day, except on Sunday.We were not made aware of the construction, and if we had, we would not have booked this unit. The owner of the unit claimed to have no knowledge of the construction and did not offer to relocate us during our stay. The beach access is through a dirty, narrow, back exit and is used by the restaurant for storage. There is not any beach seating associated with the property. The furniture upholstery is dingy and needs cleaning. The entire unit is dated and needs to be brought forward. The location is great and the onsite staff is nice. ##### Bill C. We were very happy with the condo. It was exactly what we expected. Very comfortable and with good kitchen. We used the swimming pool a lot but were also able to walk down to the beach to swim in the sea. The location of El Dorado is perfect. The staff were very helpful.
