"Straight up the hill (lots of stairs!) from the big Puerto Vallarta sign this property is close to the Malecon with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We stayed in the larger room on the top floor (again, lots of stairs) which was very well laid out and clean, with a full kitchen for longer stays. The continental breakfast starting at 8:30 at the rooftop pool area was a nice touch as we were travelling early so needed something to eat. Staff easy to get hold of through WhatsApp. Lovely...

![Puerto Vallarta has many different beaches, and while my favorites for swimming happen to be on the southside of the bay in Punta Negra & Mismaloya, the beach in the Marina is perfect. There is public access along side the bayview grand complex and a nice long walk down to the Westin. At high tide there are some areas where you may get your feet wet though! If you find yourself heading the opposite direction (perhaps for a sea turtle release) on the beach during the rainy reason be sure to keep your eye out for crocodiles!
