"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We had 4 kids with us. They provided a pack and play for our 2 year old, which was great. The house was well stocked, close to restaurants and markets and yet seems completely secluded. We all LOVED the pool! The kids loved having snacks at the swim up bar. We also enjoyed some of the games in the evening. The owner also owns a tour company. We went on the dolphin/snorkeling tour. We saw humpback whales, sea turtles and dolphins. Also recommend 10/10!"

Alex and Jenny were truly a gift. They were always ready to help and prepared delicious meals that our whole family enjoyed. "This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served around the pool area each morning. A very relaxing, accomodating place, I will definitely stay at again when visiting that area "
