Situated on a half-acre lot in the Sapodilla Beach neighborhood, the villa’s location off the beach affords privacy, yet beautiful Sapodilla Beach is there when you want it – just 100 yards from the villa to the beach path. Sapodilla Bay Beach has the softest, whitest sand you can imagine, boasting clear, calm waters. There are no waves and the water is only a few feet deep for 100 feet from shore, making this ocean an ideal place for children to play and adults to float the day away with a book or drink in hand. Sapodilla Beach faces directly west, offering fantastic sunset views nightly. The beach has a lively and fun Caribbean vibe, and offers watersports rentals. The five well-appointed bedrooms at Palm Jewel include: • Sabal Palm Suite: 1 king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks, tiled shower, soaking tub and private outdoor shower garden. First floor. • Date Palm Suite: 1 king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks and tiled shower. Second floor. • Coconut Palm Suite: 2 twin beds or one king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks and tiled shower. First floor. • Foxtail Palm Room: 2 twin beds plus twin trundle bed, or one king bed. Bathroom with stone counters, double sinks and tub /shower right next door. First floor. • Buccaneer Palm Room: 2 sets of bunk beds plus a twin trundle (sleeps 5 children or 2 adults). Second floor. The Great Room is open and airy with soaring 18’ cathedral ceilings, sofa seating area, 60” flat screen smart TV, a dining table that seats 12, and writing desk. Original island paintings by a local artist adorn the walls throughout the villa. The gourmet kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, granite counters, mahogany cabinets, and comes fully stocked with professional-grade cookware and accessories. The outdoor kitchen area features a gas BBQ grill, an ice maker, a beverage fridge, and granite counters. The 2200-sqft outdoor living areas are centered on the 40’x14’ infinity edge swimming pool with both shallow and deep areas for everyone to enjoy. At night, the pool comes alive with stunning colored lights. The adjoining covered cabana features a double chaise lounge, and 8 single chaise loungers surround the pool, grouped under umbrellas. A hammock sits shaded under the palm trees, and a large sofa seating area surrounds a fire table. An outdoor dining table seats 8 under the shaded cover of an upper floor deck that provides ocean views and expansive 180-degree birds-eye views of the surrounding area. The upper deck faces west and is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the ocean each night. The villa’s landscaping features 15 different varieties of tropical palm trees – hence the name Palm Jewel – surrounded by lush native plants. The beach is a 1-minute walk down our neighborhood street to the private access path to beautiful Sapodilla Bay Beach. The calm waters are gin clear, and only a foot or two deep out to about 100 feet from shore. The calm, clear, shallow waters of Sapodilla are fun for young and old alike. The beach has watersports rentals, chaise lounge/umbrella rentals, and a lively and fun Caribbean vibe. We have a kayak and a stand-up paddle board for guests to use, as well as a beach wagon, folding beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach blankets, and beach cooler! Everything you need for a great day at the beach is available at the villa. Air conditioning is available throughout the house, with individually controlled units in each bedroom and the living areas so you can use just what you need. Air conditioning is metered separately and charged back to the guest at cost to encourage conservation. Air conditioning used at night in the bedrooms typically runs $150-300 per week. Our villa can accommodate up to 14 people, with a maximum of 8 adults in the party. Please note we are a Saturday to Saturday villa, and rent in one week increments only. We do all our bookings ourselves and only accept payment through the VRBO system. We do not accept wire transfers. Perfect unplug, reset, recharge vacation. The home was spotless, fully stocked with everything from Nespresso machine to tide pods to shampoo, conditioner and literally everything in between. The ice machine was my personal favorite! Beds were comfortable, the outdoor space was wonderful, Bluetooth speakers outside w/ seamless connection, gorgeous flowers to enjoy w/ your morning coffee. We loved the local artwork on the walls around the house. Minute or two walk to the most beautiful beach we've ever laid eyes on. Zero seaweed/sargassum. House has backpack beach chairs & a cooler. Cooler was pretty big and would be great for larger group, we did wish we'd brought a smaller backpack cooler. The outdoor shower off the primary suite was another favorite. All in all a wonderful home with so much charm, attention to detail and just so happens to sit a few steps from one of the most breathtakingly beautiful beaches in the world! ##### Tessie J. The house is lovely, the pool is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet (& has a security guard), & the walk to Sapodilla beach is very short. We chose to stay near Sapodilla instead of Grace Bay because the water is calm & shallow for the grandkids (ages 4-7). Even though it was July we only needed to use the AC at night in the bedrooms; during the day the breeze kept the house comfortable. The 2 days we went to Grace Bay it was an easy 20 minute drive though parking can be a challenge. Communication with the host & property manager was easy, expedient, & efficient. The villa was a perfect environment for all. We loved the villa, all the amenities, proximity to Sapodilla Beach and nearby access to restaurants and excursions. We went our for adventurous tour on a catamaran, did some parasailing, jet skiing and a sunset cruise with stops on Iguana Island and Pine Cay. The pool was a very clean we spent equal time between pool and beach. Every attention to detail was appreciated. Staff very responsive for minor issues - responding within minutes (not hours or days like some other places we have been). Accurate listing, very responsive property management. The kids loved the paddleboard and kayaks, the beach chairs also came in handy. The kitchen was completely stocked with every convenience and more than enough basics to get us through the week without extra trips to the store. Tips: You cannot have enough bug spray…really! Pack twice as much as you think necessary. The mosquitoes and no-see-ems never left us alone, even inside they found the sneakiest ways in :-(Sapodilla Beach has very little shade so bring a packable shade/umbrella from home if you can or rent the chairs from the vendors. Palm Jewel is about 25-30 mins away from Grace Bay beaches, marinas, and shopping so give yourself plenty of time to navigate around the island. Our group (2 families with children 7-13) would recommend Palm Jewel to all looking for a lovely home for their vacation! ##### Breena D. It was spacious, beautifully maintained, and truly perfect for our stay—especially with five small children, including two infants. The home had everything we needed and more.The beach was just a short walk away and absolutely ideal for little ones. We especially appreciated how peaceful and uncrowded it was. It made our vacation feel relaxing and safe for the kids.Our host and the property management team were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Perfect for our group of families with young kids. The pool has a shallow end for small kids and my 4 year old had a blast. The house has excellent air flow and we only used AC at night in our bedrooms. Total cost was around 90 for the week. Sapodilla bay is absolutely stunning. Calm and shallow and so easy to come and go from the house. We enjoyed the paddle board and the kayak. The management company was excellent and very accommodating and communicative. The neighborhood felt very safe and we had a few close restaurants to check out, though we cooked almost meals at home. ##### Cara A. The best accommodations and outdoor area we have ever had for our family...ages 8 months to 62\. So happy with our choice of rental villas! Our communication between the villa owner and the property manager was outstanding. Any questions we had or concerns were answered quickly and with no problems at all. If something needed to be looked after, someone was there within the hour and everyone was happy to help. The cleaning staff were also so accommodating and efficient. The set up of the villa was perfect for 8 of us. Kitchen was spacious as well as the eating area. Having two fridges and two washing machines/dryers were actually very helpful. One fridge we used for drinks and the other for food. Living room was big enough for all of us to sit and watch a few movies and football games when the weather wasn’t the best to sit outside. We had enough bathrooms for everyone to use and you always had hot water. Hooks were found everywhere to hang everything up and laundry baskets in each room for dirty clothes. The pool area was the best part though! We spent so much time outside in the pool and had enough loungers for everyone to plop themselves down whether you wanted sun or shade or a place to read a book or have a snooze. There was an outdoor fridge which came in handy and an ice machine. They also had cornhole by the pool which was used a lot by our crew. We didn’t ever use the fire table because of the mosquitoes but wish we could have, looked like a lovely spot to spend the evenings. The villa is only a 2 minute walk from Sapodilla Beach and it’s beautiful there ##### Arlana K. We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging from 9 to 16 and the house was a perfect set-up to meet our family's needs. The house had a couple of small issues but the management company was quick to reply to texts and send someone over to resolve the issues. COVID in 2020 delayed our plans but we were persistent and after four years and two more grandkids the opportunity presented itself and schedules worked out for us to stay at the Palm Jewel. This villa was all that we had hoped for and more. The photos were all accurate. Everyone had their rooms picked out before we arrived! The layout was perfect for our mixed age group. Privacy for everyone who wanted it and closeness for everyone who needed it. We relished the well stocked kitchen with plenty dishes, bowls, pots and pans, and an ice-maker outside by the pool that ALWAYS was ahead of us with a supply of ice. The first view of Sapodilla Bay Beach took our breath away. It has the most beautiful, clear turquoise water and white sandy beach that one could wish for—perfect for children as well as adults. The pool was a real bonus enjoyed by everyone.The guest packet we received when we checked was very thorough. It was a great reference for just about everything we did. All of us had our own space, and yet all of us were able to spend lots of quality time with each other. The large square table fit all of us and we were able to talk with each other. The pool was fantastic and I think that is where we spent most of our time. Short walk to the beach. The whole property was well cared for and appointed. I would say the only issue we had during the stay was the British way of driving (left side vs. right side). Many incredible restaurants within a short drive.
