Boat pick up for touts are right on the beach, too. Lots of space and nicely updated. There is great snorkeling right out front. Good food options in walking distance. We were aware of the construction next door, so we were ok with it, but it is a large hotel being built directly next door so there is a lot of noise from that project. It is not a problem when you are at the beach, but you can hear the noise in the room and especially on the porch. Overall, a great stay for us, but we travel here often. You literally walk out onto Grace Bay and in front of the reef. Condo has its own chairs and umbrellas which was wonderful - and we never had an issue getting one. The staff and property manager were excellent. Only negative was the construction next door - they started early and even worked on weekends. We were able to snorkel right from the beach and witnessed several boat excursions pick up and drop off at our beach. The Somewhere Cafe was a great option for lunch or dinner when we did not want to venture out for dinner that was either a short walk up the beach or taxi ride from this location. The condo was very clean with all the appliances we needed. The staff was very helpful and super friendly from front office to the staff assisting us on the beach. The only cons: construction next door is loud and will obstruct sunset from the balcony, can always stay at the beach. It could use a pizza pan though. Construction is well underway next door and the noise starts around 7 and ends around 7\. Balcony is unusable during these hours as it overlooks the construction. Gerome down at the towel table is a complete gem of a human and will work hard to make sure you have a chair and schedule any excursions for you. Graceway IGA is a fantastic supermarket. We found everything we would expect at our local grocery store in the US. It was very wavy one day in Grace Bay and we headed to Taylor bay on the opposite side of the island. What a magical beach! The condo was very clean, comfortable and we loved the layout with the bedroom a bit away and the fact there are 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked, but lacking hot pads-which the manager promptly left in our unit once notified. There were a few broken items (can opener, crack and leak in measuring cup) but we did not go to the manager for replacements, I'm sure they would have replaced so that's on us. Housekeeping, Beach and Office Staff were welcoming and friendly. The beach in front does not have a lot of depth, so there is only space for one row of lounges, and then walking room for strolling the beach, but to the left it gets bigger. The only downside was the daily construction right off of the balcony. It was hard to sit there for coffee or lunch. It was unrelenting. However the noise didn't bother us once inside or early in the morning while sleeping. The building is at least 8-10 stories high and blocks a big part of what must have been an amazing view. You can still see the water, but it is a narrow view. Our trade off is the proximity to the protected reef. We were in the water snorkeling 2X a day. We saw an Eagle Ray, stingray, sea cucumbers, and an amazing variety of colorful fish. We were lucky to have calm seas for all of our days so we could get in the water. Would we return? Hubby says Yes b/c of the snorkeling, I say I would wait till construction is done or ask for a bit bigger discount. ##### Peggy H. Stayed 7 nights in Jan 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Cara C. We enjoyed the daily housekeeping, refresh of coffee and towel replacements. The reef directly in front of the villa was wonderful for snorkelling (we snorkelled almost each day we were there). My husband and I were looking for a quiet place with great snorkeling and we could not have made a better choice! The place was clean and perfect, everything we needed. It’s perfect for two people and the property staff is great, including office, beach and cleaning personnel. The location is great for snorkeling and swimming and walking the beach. ##### Katie R.
