There must be a bar nearby and drunks walking around in the wee hours. Also, our unit was on the third floor. For me with bad knees the stairway was a challenge - very narrow staircase and steps that are angled very high, similarly to Amsterdam if you've ever been there. The unit had the instant hot water turned off, but I found it and turned it on so no big deal. There was not a microwave, nor a working TV (yes I searched for channels). There was ample parking, a cute courtyard to retreat to, a nice bakery down the street, it can be loud at night, and we did not reach out to the property manager.
