It would be helpful to have a few folding chairs so that 5 or 6 people can sit at the table to eat. We were so glad to be in an area of the city close to everything we wanted to visit. The carriage house was also really clean and Jean our host was super communicative and replied my many questions about about seaside towns to visit and recommendations of places to eat and excercise, which was very helpful. The home and property was clean, easy to access and no complaints from any of our family members. Communication with our hosts was easy and they were quick with any needs that we had. While the weather didn’t agree, everything else was fabulous! The Carriage House was just as described, perfectly clean and beautiful inside. There was plenty of room for all of us. The beds originally seemed hard, but once you sank into them, they were perfect. They provided everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was a great addition. All paper products were there too. We were a 3 minute drive to the ceremony, which was amazing. Next time, we’ll hope for better weather so we can walk around Providence. We will be back! We could walk to both universities as well as local dining and shopping. The space itself was newly remodeled and quite beautiful. The rooms are large and spacious, easily sleeping 6\. The living space is cozy and welcoming with a focus on togetherness. We spent more time sitting around talking after each day than we have in a long time. The location is quiet, given its proximity to the college and Thayer St., which I highly recommend taking a stroll down. If you’re looking for an exceptional rental that is close to tons of things to do, rent here. We look forward to coming back next year. Thank you Jean and Kevin. The space is immaculate and very well appointed. We didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen was well-equipped and we could have. The location is exceptionally quiet but super close to the Brown campus and the Thayer St district. Located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with ample parking, the house has been stylishly restored and maintains its charm, while possessing all the modern amenities one could want while on the road. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, colorful, warm and inviting. My daughter in particular delighted in the strung lights which give a magical sense to the third floor great room. If you are visiting Brown, RISD or any of the other historic sites in Providence, it would be hard to find a better location and place to land. We will definitely be back.
