Myself and 8 friends/coworkers were escaping from the stress of work. This was per PERFECT house for a relaxing vacation where we could unwind and decompress. Wes was very easy to communicate with and maintains a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and adorably decorated. The bathrooms are luxurious and reminiscent of a spa and the outside patio area has well shaded areas as well as sunny spots for those who enjoy laying out. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning property! The home itself was impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with everything functioning flawlessly. Our group of 10 stayed comfortably, thanks to cozy beds, spacious living areas (movie nights and karaoke were a hit!), and a large kitchen that made communal cooking a joy. The real highlight, though, was the outdoor space. Waking up to scenic views of rolling hills and adorable Highland cows, then spending our days floating and swimming in the Yakima River’s perfect waters was pure bliss. The host even provided paddle boards, which added so much fun! Eagles soared overhead, and the tranquility of the river made it feel like a private retreat. Location-wise, Prosser was ideal—we loved exploring nearby wineries (with some of the kindest staff we’ve met!) but still relished coming "home" to this peaceful oasis. The host exceeded expectations: responsive, kind, and proactive (they even ensured watercraft was ready for us upon arrival). Check-in/out was effortless, and the property was so well-maintained, it truly felt like paradise. We’re already dreaming of our next stay—100% recommend for anyone seeking a luxurious, fun, and relaxing escape! ##### Evan S. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. The most spacious house I’ve rented for a large group. Usually when a house says sleeps xx number you anticipate a lot of shared couches or beds. This house had so much space to spread out, sleep, rest, etc. The weather wasn’t the best while we were there and this house was perfect to cozy up in. We couldn’t imagine how nice the property is when sunny! We had a great time and hope to go back again! ##### Melissa D. We loved the chickens next door, the fluffy cattle (Scottish Highland, maybe?) and llama across the way, and the river view! Oh, and all the adorable little goats a mile down the road!!! We were only 9 minutes from Desert Wind winery (food, wine, & dance space to enjoy a GREAT band on Friday night - Sum People), and 6 minutes from the Vintner's Village! About 4 minutes from Chukar Cherries, and 6 from Whitstran Steaks & Spirits (terrific food!) Two "caution" notes on the location: the dogs next door don't like it when you walk past their house. Two of them even broke through the invisible fence, although they quickly went back as you could see the stimulator was doing its job. Also, this is in the country, and the farm smell rolls in at dusk. It's quite pungent, but doesn't last all night, and we didn't notice it during the day. Neither of these would keep us from staying here again, but they are elements that could be deal breakers for others. The house was in great shape, easy to get in and out of, and well laid out. Communication with Wes was extraordinary, and they even left us a tasty bottle of "welcome wine" with a lovely note. We are grateful that they trust VRBO travelers with their lovely home! ##### Amanda H. We all live about 5 hours apart, so this was in the middle. The house was perfect for all of us, and the teenage grandchildren had plenty of room to explore and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The setting on the river was fantastic. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay while wine tasting in the area. The renovations in the house are well thought out and very nicely done. The yard is beautiful and the closeness to the river was wonderful. There were only four of us but we appreciated the two different levels we could use to provide privacy. The experience was indeed five stars. There are a few things that should be noted: there are no house numbers on the exterior of the home (that we could find) and a post outside with the numbers was difficult to see due to its placement. One of our party had a very difficult time finding the home because of this. The house could use a supply of bath tissues and more paper towels ( only one roll was provided). A couple safety issues were: no railings at the stairs into the house at the back door and at the last few stairs leading to the basement. One of us has MS and the other arthritis ) (yep, we’re over 60) and even though they might not be required by building codes, having railings would have made things safer and easier for us. There are no screens on the doors. Flies were an issue even though we made every attempt to keep doors closed at all times. None of these minor issues detracted from our stay. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. We appreciated the nice bottle of wine and cherries left as a welcome gift. You will enjoy staying staying in this lovely home. ##### Cheri C.
