It is tastefully designed and close to beaches, wonderful restaurants and shops. This is a perfect condo for families or two to three couples. The master suite is large and super comfortable. The bedrooms are far apart and each have their own bathroom. The living area is spacious with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open up to a fully furnished patio area that overlooks the pool. The Princeville area is absolutely the best location to stay in. And this condo is the perfect place for a wonderful vacation. The owner is gracious and has great ideas for a fun time! There is a bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms as well which makes this a perfect place for 1 or 2 families. The location is perfect. It's a short drive to Hanalei and there is a grocery store and shopping just a few minutes drive from the condo. You could even walk along the beautiful path to the market. The owner has decorated in a beautiful island theme of blue and white. The kitchen is fully stocked, making it easy to cook at home or go enjoy a night out. We had questions about some outdated instructions and a fire alarm that was out of battery and beeping when we arrived. It is in great condition with a lot of space with a great patio space and plenty of amenities (cooler for the beach, beach chairs, yoga mats, beach towels, grill on the patio). The only thing to keep in mind that the AC only reaches the master bedroom and the common areas (kitchen, living room, dining room). The three bedroom condo was perfect for our family including two young adult daughters and my mom. The place was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and we were all very comfortable. The management was responsive when we needed a couple of small items (extra blanket, coffee grinder). The condo does not have its own grill but we used the ones in the common area, which worked out great. The condo is close to everything we needed and wanted in Kauai. Clean and bright unit with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, well stocked, including the beach gear in the garage - the sun umbrellas were very much appreciated! As with most rentals, some sharper knives would be nice....but a minor inconvenience. Alanna was very responsive and helpful before, during, and after the stay. The preparations and organization very thorough - including the security code for forgetful folks like me (I don't think that was a coincidence - thank you). Short walks to some hidden beaches and Queen's Bath. We look forward to returning and don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading to the Princeville area. Mahalo ##### Richard B. Jan 11, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Cleanliness #### Great property, but could have been much cleaner. The location and property itself was fantastic. Plenty of room for our family of four, and the amenities, including the spa, pool and workout room were great. The downside was that nothing had been cleaned properly prior to our stay; the bath towels had stains on them, so we had to wash / bleach the towels prior to us, and the plates, cups, pans and cooking utensils had food still stuck on them, requiring a deep clean prior to use. We were ecstatic to find that there was a no shoes rule in the house, as we practice the same rules at home, but the carpet was stained and dirty - so we didn’t quite understand why we were asked to remove our shoes - not to mention the fact that we felt rather grossed out walking around the house barefoot. Would have been totally fine with the somewhat exorbitant cleaning fee, if the place had actually been cleaned fully prior to our arrival, but I feel like we got hosed so the house could be cleaned minimally for the next guests. Easily a 5 star VRBO property if the place were maintained, but I have to give it 3 stars overall given the price we paid for what we got. ##### Joseph M. Oct 21, 2015 #### A month in paradise with a 13 month old and a 3 year old Absolutely the ideal place for myself, my 13 month old and 3 year old daughter. Safe, child friendly. And so many extras like, small chairs, toys, books, crib etc... The children LOVED the deck and eating their meals outside. My 3 year old would watch the pool for her 'friends' and then request to go swim. The condo was clean, the bedding and decor was simple and perfect. The location was ideal. We rented bikes and had them delivered and was able to ride to the local park, ride to the St. regis for sunsets, lunches by the pool etc... We explored almost all the beaches on the north shore. Tunnels was our favorite. The garage was stocked with ice chests, umbrella, chairs, sand toys and floaties for the kids. Hanalei bay is 10 minutes away and we our local favorite for lunch and dinners was the Hanalei Gourmet. They were great with the kids. Overall, brilliant condo but the icing on the cake was how proactive and helpful Alanna was. Always prompt with responses and proactive with great kid-friendly ideas. Reviewer Comments: (1) When we first showed up, I had to "clean" the inside of the dishwasher door panel. It had junk all over it. After two "washes", a lot of the blue detergent still stuck on the bottom & inside of the DW door! Even the handyman said it was dirty & does not work. We handwashed our dishes & pots & pans. Still waiting for appliance credit.(2) The two bottom drawers in the refrigerator were impossible to open & close. The "tracks" were broken. (3) Chest drawers in MBR would fall out when we tried to open them. There were no "tracks" to hold onto them. We left our clothes in our suitcases.(4) We took out the ice chest in the MBR closet. It was covered with sand top & bottom. We opened it & the inside was covered with wet sand.
