Overall, the location is amazing. The view from the balcony is stunning and the local birds will keep you entertained. Unfortunately, we had a terrible time communicating with the management company, Vacasa. Upon arrive, I had not received an email detailing our vacation stay and thus was unable to enter our VRBO. This required contacting the property manager where I was put on hold for over an hour. This was EXTREMELY frustrating as we were a current customer and spent a lot of money to stay in this rental.
The interior is very nice. We did notice many of the cleaning details were being overlooked. The vents in every bathroom are filthy and full of dust. I initially noticed because I have a bad dust allergy and was sneezing each time I used the bathroom. This is also a fire hazard and should be looked at immediately. The cabinets have also not been cleaned. Due to the pandemic we are currently facing, we made sure to wipe the kitchen clean and were surprised to see the amount of grease and dirt on the cabinets. Gross! The windows and slider doors were also very dirty and hard to open. These are minor details that I want to address because clearly they are often overlooked and we pay a cleaning fee.
24 hours prior to our check-out date, I had contacted Vacasa several times requesting a later check-out time. After 4-5 messages and calls, I still received no response (only that I was 170th in line on hold). We contacted the front desk of the condo community and they had no contact information available for this unit. Can you imagine our frustration? We continued to wait for a response, with no luck the cleaning crew arrived and essentially kicked us out. We frantically packed. After 10 minutes of packing and loading the car, I received a call from the management company, not even addressing my question, but to tell me that the cleaning crew is waiting and that we need to leave. WHAT?! I cannot explain how frustrating it is to pay for a service and receive very inadequate communication.
In summary, this location is amazing and will not disappoint. However, I would HIGHLY recommend establishing communication with Vacasa months in advance. Address all the areas I touched on above and hopefully you will not experience the same frustrations my family and I did.
