Luckily I had friends who transported me to and from the hotel as required. There is no easy access to public transport and it is remote from shops too. To my surprise, I found out this hotel is one also used by couples seeking privacy, if you know what I mean. I didn't witness anything myself so not a problem for solo travellers. Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to help – arranging taxis & giving advice on buses to the airport, offering advice on towns to visit around the lake, giving us a plug adapter etc. Overall, a 10/10 experience.
