« Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. Carl & Tace kindly let me keep my wheelchair in the hallway too which really saved us having to keep putting it back in the car when going out. We also really appreciate that we were...

« I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. « Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly. Ours hosts were so friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere, we have family in Paignton and will 100 percent...
