A spacious covered deck affords you a front-row seat to this 14-acre boulder and pine creation, right out your back door. Two new Trade air conditioning and furnaces installed in February 2023\. The east-facing deck is made for outdoor entertaining. It has a built-in propane grill and a tiled buffet. Lots of comfortable seating makes this the place to relax on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine or cool winter morning with a cup of coffee. An 8ft. slider brings you into an open living room. This space has vaulted ceilings with light knotty pine and a beautiful stone fireplace. These are surrounded by Lazy Boy recliners and attractive dark upholstered couch and love seat. Whether you are staring dreamily into the fire or watching a program on the cable flat-screen TV, it's hard to get up and do anything else.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, slow cooker, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, can opener, blender,microwave, and dishwasher. A large dining room table makes meals easy and accommodating. Boulder Cabin sleeps 5 with a queen in each bedroom and a sofa (not a sofa sleeper} in the living room. Wonderful views surprise you out of the bedroom windows. The master bath is very special with a walk in dual head shower, and separate toilet room. I never close the blinds, because the 14 acres of large boulders and trees, is a strong deterrent to to any casual person passing by. Both bedrooms share a covered deck for bird watching or bat spotting. A picnic table makes for fun outdoor dining to feed kids. The hall bath with tub/shower combination is convenient for guests. Internet and washer/dryer bring modern touches to the cozy cabin in the rocks. Keep an open mind as you drive through Canyon View Trailer Park, as it is quite an eyesore. The Fillingim's have owned that park and all of the land back into the canyon for many years. They raised 5 children in the stone house on the hill above and behind the park. Two of the grown kids have built beautiful homes behind the electronic gate just beyond my cabin. I have owned this cabin since 2005\. I feel totally safe when I am at the cabin alone, while never having had anything vandalized or stolen. Many times the residents in the park have helped me with one thing or another.Please keep in mind not to base my review on the trailer park as I have disclosed it completely. I must maintain a 4.8 to remain a Preferred Partner which determines my placement on the internet. It is a very quiet location and has beautiful views from the deck in which to enjoy your morning coffee or just sitting and relaxing. If sitting on the deck at night you may hear coyotes in the distance. Did not see any wildlife but did enjoy many birds including a hummingbird which flew up close to me. There is a hummingbird feeder hanging on the deck which is empty and I was tempted to make some food for them while there. I feed hummingbirds where I live and they are my favorite little birds. The beds were very comfortable and quiet ceiling fans in each bedroom. Didn't do any cooking while there but appeared to have everything you would need if you did. Is not far from downtown for restaurant dining and close to a market and a CVS drug store and some fast food locations if so needed. A highlight for us was a short drive to a Dairy Queen for an evening ice cream. If you are wanting a very quiet and peaceful location with great views this it it. The cabin decor is beautiful and offers everything one can need. The beds are very comfortable, and also the living room furniture. You pass trailers on the way in, but the neighborhood is very quiet. The cabin is by itself at the end of the street, with views galore. I would stay here again! ##### Kelly O. The back patio is the gem of the property. Other than sleeping, it’s where we spent most of our time. It looks into a granite hillside with a lake on the other side of the hill. It’s so quiet. You can’t hear any road noise, but you may hear a duck or goose. The worst part of our trip was leaving to go home. We’ll be back for sure. ##### Rick H. It was clean, plenty of “stuff” for cooking, extra TP, Kleenex, etc. We spent more time on the porch than we did in the cabin. It was very peaceful. The location is ideal. You’re 10 minutes from downtown Prescott as well as the shopping area between Prescott and Prescott Valley. For the golfers, you’re less than 10 minutes from Antelope Hills.
