I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lodge is just off the main road but if we heard a car we didn’t notice, it’s so quiet around there.
