The history of the building immersed us in the Prague experience. The location was also great, just minutes away from Old Town and we were able to walk to all of the major historical sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed breakfast at the hotel throughout our stay. Overall great experience and would stay here again!
The property is incredible the heart of old Prague and so easy to navigate all the sights. We walked everywhere from the St. Charles bridge to every tourist sight! Our room was clean and comfortable. The historical building was so charming and breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day.
The room was historical and fantastic. Tons of space and the best A/C we’ve had in Europe, especially being on the fourth floor. The breakfast was AMAZING with so many different options and an incredible eating area. We received free water bottles prior to leaving as well.
Great location in the heart of old town centre. Driving car to location a bit tricky down pedestrian-focused cobble stone street. No parking on premises but valet-available and worked well. Quirky but pleasant staff. Quirky hotel flooplan layout as well, not unusual for a building of this age. The rooms and corridor lounges were tastefully, even elegantly appointed. Rooms were clean. Climate control worked well. Plenty of noise from the pedestrian street crowds outside our 3rd floor room that persisted until about midnight. Buffet breakfast was a cut above with a full array including the typical plus a nice selection of fruits and smoked fish. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend and be happy to return.
This was a great hotel for our three day stay in Prague. The staff was very helpful and the location unbeatable. This is a quaint old hotel and it is well maintained. My husband is in a wheelchair and they made every accommodation. This hotel offers airport transfers which we used in one direction. Fixed price, no hassle transfers. I would highly recommend.
This hotel was on an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very spacious with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again.
The staff are awesome. Very welcoming and very courteous. The building is not super modern, but thats the appeal of staying in the old town center. You step out and you are on the best spots. Large room, definitely would stay again.
This location is amazing….literally at the heart of the Old Town. Parking is challenging and an extra expense, so don’t bring a car if you can help it. But the rooms are an architectural marvel and I’ve never stayed in a cooler place. The staff were great, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the rooms were very clean. We had a problem with A/C one night but they gracious to let us sleep in another room. Overall I loved it and would recommend. It used to be a monastery and the history really comes through.
Stayed at the Dominican for 4 nights on our trip to Prague. Overall hotel was great and the middle of everything. Very easy to walk everywhere. Rooms were clean and have air conditioning! Breakfast was also very good. My only complaint was around the keys not always working in the elevator. Took about 10-20 tries to sometimes get it to work. Most of the staff were really nice as well (John I believe his name was and the woman who seems to do almost everything there!).
We visited Prague for our anniversary and enjoyed the hotel. We had a charming room with exposed timber beams, a chandelier over the bed and a modern well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast selection was ample. We were able to check in upon arriving from our overnight flight from New York. The hotel is poised over the center of Old Town Prague which is pedestrian-only and lively. Having said that, our room on the fourth floor was very quiet and access to Ubers to and from the airport were easily accessed from the front door. Access to our room was from an elevator to the third floor and then ascending a flight of stairs. If someone is averse to stairs, request a rom on 3 or below. We however, loved our perch on the top floor.
