Cons: Room furniture basic & worn, walls stained, lamp shades & louvered blinds dirty, bathroom functional but one wall water damaged, newish-one-piece shower had faucet issues, tough to regulate temp. Room & bath could use a coat of paint & thorough cleaning. It’s a fine stay if you don’t plan on lounging in the room & the lower priced room rates makes up for any deficiency in my book. If you’re fussy or a clean-freak, stay elsewhere. My room was in a different building, over a liquor store. I'm not sure if the liquor store was still in business as I arrived quite late. Felt rather isolated as I arrived quite late, in the dark, and went up the steps over the liquor store away from anyone else. The room was very tattered - stains on the furniture. Stains on the walls. Used towels hanging in the shower. I think the sheets may have been clean, at least. The price is right and it is centered in the middle of the Hudson towns that I wanted to visit. Plenty of hot water! Easy to travel on Route 9 north and south. Near the village of Cold Spring, a quaint town with nice restaurants. The room was very clean but showing signs of wear. The shelf above the sink was falling off. The vent by the toilet was rusty. The television control did not respond and turn on the TV 2 days out of 4\. My husband Randy stayed at the hotel. The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was very friendly. It was easily accessible from highway. The outside needed a little touchup but the rooms were very clean. Stayed for two nights and the price was very reasonable. The condiiton of the motel is Okay as for many motels in this country. The room is clean, bed sheet and towels you can smell laundry cleaness which made the stay a pleasant one.
