In a small area, you can come into contact with a mixture of CULTURES, thanks to the diversity of commerce in the area and specialized stores.  
  
Within a radius of 5 km you can visit the historic and centenary LIVRARIA LELLO and one of the most BEAUTIFUL Mc Donald's in the WORLD, located in an old bank, on Avenida dos ALIADOS. If you want to explore further, stop by the famous ESTAÇÃO DE BENTO, formerly a Convent, where you can take a tourist train and discover the beautiful LANDSCAPES on the banks of the River Douro  
  
To drink some COCKTAILS with your fellow travelers, you can go to the most famous streets of BOHEMIA, the Galerias de Paris, which come to LIFE after 11 pm. It has several BARS of different styles, so you can try each one, from fado, pop, rock and 80's.

The building is located in the most commercial area of downtown Porto (Baixa). Supermarkets such as Minipriço and Pingo Doce are just 5min away, Rua de Santa Catarina is also only 2 minutes, perfect for those who want to explore the small traditional shops and emblematic cafes like the Majestic.  
  
Bakeries to have fresh bread all day and to have breakfast with pastries and assorted cakes, such as the famous Pastel de Nata.  
  
Close to all the most emblematic monuments of the city, a perfect place to explore it on foot.  
  
Getting Around:  
  
If you come from the airport by Metro, just get off at Bolhão Metro Station and then it's only 2 minutes walking to the apartment.  
  
If you come by car, there are places on the street to park, with parking meter paid on weekdays between 8am and 8pm, Saturdays between 9am and 4pm and Sundays and holidays is free.  
  
If you prefer to leave the car in a closed garage, the closest one is "Silo Auto ", works every day and is at the top of the street, you can see the garage from the apartment.
