He met us at the apartment and after showing us around, welcomed us with a glass of port each. It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and very cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with a large table for eating in a bright, open area. The two bedrooms were small but the beds were comfortable. The two adjoining washrooms were modern, very clean, well equipped and had great showers. The location was adequate, with a 15 minute walk from the train station and a short walk from the Metro. There were however two areas of concern. The bedrooms were very snug with limited storage space. Even as we were travelling light, there was only enough room for one carry-on size suitcase in the cupboard with little space around the bed to walk. The other problem was that the two bedrooms were separated by two adjoining doors each with a translucent window. At bedtime, if one couple was still awake with the light on, the light shone through to the second bedroom when the other couple was trying to sleep. It would be a good idea to have a blind to pull down covering the window in the door. On the whole, we enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment. ##### Pauline S.
