A good-sized room and bathroom with a comfortable bed and mini-bar. Really friendly staff and a welcome drink with cake on arrival! They gave us good recommendations for restaurants and boat trips on the Douro River. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. Quiet. Conveniently located. 5 minutes walk to the metro station. The metro brings me direct to the international airport. Only downside for some might be it has no lift. Our stay at the B The Guest Downtown was fabulous from the moment we arrived to the final goodbye today when we left. The location was great. The breakfast team Sonaia, Carla and Carol were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the freshly served food was a delight. With changes everyday. We were treated to a feast everyday to start the day off properly.
