The property is new and clean. The location is quiet. The room is small but is ok for two persons.
However, one of the managers may need better understanding of the hotel policy. When I checked in, the manager told me that there were only two options for wifi use: 1) pay $9.95; or 2) give them my email to join Hilton Honor Program for free wifi.
It was quite a surprise as the Expedia website clearly indicated "free wifi" to this hotel. I double checked with the manager. She insisted the two options. Then I called the Expedia customer service. The agent was surprised too. He later called the front desk to clarify this. The manager had left. So, the agent only spoke to a younger staff.
After a while, the young staff texted me that the manager still insisted that either i paid the $9.95 or joined the Hilton Honor Program to use wifi. Later, I went to the front desk and the young staff told me that the manager asked me to join the Hilton to use the wifi. Through the young staff's phone, I spoke to the manager, telling her that I chose to pay the $9.95. Then, the problem came out -- no one knew how to make the payment. So, we had to connect to the hotel wifi to see how to make the payment. Then, the Hilton web page came out -- it showed two options: 1) for standard use of 7 days -- free wifi; and 2) premium use -- $9.95.
I do not know how many guests were forced to give their email addresses for the wifi use. This misleading could result in lawsuits against this hotel.
