Centrally located, it is only a 5 minute walk to Alberta Street, which is full of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs/bars, and charming quirky shops; a 7 minute walk to beautiful Wilshire Park; and a 10 minute walk to New Seasons grocery store. Downtown Portland is only a 10 min drive, and there is a bus stop 1 block away. This is a spacious, finished basement apartment with one bedroom, full bath, living room, kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The bedroom includes a queen size bed, a vanity, and egress window, and a clothes closet. The living room is cozy with a sofa that opens into a small bed, arm chairs, a desk, a full set of dumbbell weights, a yoga mat, and stretch bands, and a chrome cast projector with a large movie screen. Both the bedroom and living room have wall to wall carpeting. The bathroom is large with a shower/tub, toilet, sink and large mirror. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dining table, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, and a two burner electric hot plate. There is a large sink and faucet, a long counter top with drawers and cabinets underneath, dishware, cooking pots and pans and other utensils, and a washer and dryer. This basement apartment has its own entrance next to the garage in the back of the house. Guests will also have access to a large, covered, west facing front porch with patio furniture and a two person swing that looks down to a beautiful front yard garden. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtain in the bedroom was very helpful for rest. The kitchen is minimally supplied for cooking so if you plan to do a lot of that it would be a slight challenge. However, there are so many delicious places to eat in Portland bringing back leftovers or having snacks and drinks was perfect!
