A quiet second floor unit in this historic 4 unit building and just a short walk or Uber to what makes Portland so special. A 20 minute walk to the Old Port and shorter walk to many other great restaurants such as Bonobo, Chaval, and Pai Men Miyake. For concerts and entertainment walk to the State Theater , the Merrill or Thompson's Point in just a few minutes. Portland's minor league baseball and hockey is all an easy walk as well. Portland's art scene is right next door with the Portland Museum of Art and Maine College of Art just down the street along with many galleries featuring works of many well established Maine based artists. If you are feeling like cooking, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need plus there is a gas grill available to you. Located in Portland's most historic and luxurious neighborhood with many brick and clapboard sided homes and mansions on the "Western Promenade" many of which were designed by renowed architect John Calvin Stevens. This neighborhood is ideal for an evening or morning walk to take it all in. Your dedicated parking space is right outside your door, but Portland is so walkable many guests hardly use their car during their stay. A car would be needed for beaching or a trip to the mountains or to visit the famous lighthouse "Portland Headlight". In addition to comfy beds and living room sofas, the wifi service is high speed and simple to connect to. All the flat screen TVs have local and national channels and are wifi ready to stream your personal accounts such as Netflix Apple TV, Paramount etc. Throughout the space you'll find hardwood floors, tile, oversized windows, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
