"Short story: As a confirmed and prepaid room was not available at the Park Hotel Post Freiburg upon our timely arrival for check in, I would give the hotel zero stars, if that was an option. Long story: We found and booked the Park Hotel Post Freiburg on Expedia and booked and prepaid it for 2 nights. We received the booking confirmation on April 22. When we arrived on May 11th in the late afternoon to check in, we were informed by the receptionist, that they don’t have a room for us at the Park Hotel. They had booked us at a “sister” hotel (completely different style of hotel) without informing/asking for our consent. He was very sorry for the inconvenience."
