Walking distance to the downtown/main street area. The place is located right along one of the main roads that leads downtown which made for a beautiful and easy walk to the shopping area but does seem to lead to a higher level of traffic noise driving past the rental. The unit is also apart of a building with several other units and noises/sounds/conversations from those areas can be heard. Kitchen does not have an oven as noted but we were still able to make several meals at home with the appliances provided. The apartment had everything you would need for a short term stay. It was great to have access to the coin laundry on the second floor for people traveling.
