« We really didn't like our stay in this house. Firstly, we were informed that there were earwigs and humidity bugs when we called from Clarenville. I had read in the comments that there were some, but I didn't realize how many. In one evening, we killed around 50. « We had a wonderful stay in Open Hall at Eagles Cliffe. We were told to watch the movie The Grande Seduction and we went to Tickle Cove to see what we could find from the movie. That was fun. Loved the arch at Tickle Cove. Great walk. We did drive daily to Bonavista can be done and spend the day till dinner in Bonavista and return to this quiet serene location. »

The host is amazing with many recommendations on local attractions, restaurants etc. We took his advice and were not disappointed. Bonavista, this property, area sites, local people, food and entertainment are all a must to enjoy while in Newfoundland. We highly recommend. »

« We were looking for a place in Trinity / Port Rexton with short notice & we ended up finding a magical place. The house had amazing character, was reasonably priced & wonderful owners (Chris&Lilly). The house is a quiet, old home that has been newly renovated with great attention to detail. We were on the water with nobody around and yet still close enough to town. If we ever come back to Newfoundland we would absolutely stay here again. You won’t be disappointed. 10 stars »
