For the fishing enthusiast, the public boat ramp is just a few miles away, where you will find parking for your boat. Visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops and restaurants along Reid Avenue. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! Parking: 4-5 vehicles, boat parking allowed Pet friendly: This home is pet-friendly, allowing up to 2 dogs (40lb maximum weight limit). If you choose to bring a pet, an additional charge of $140 will be added to your reservation after you book. Golf cart: No Linens and supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied, as well as all cookware, dinnerware and glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener. Beach gear and recreation equipment: Some of our properties include beach gear onsite (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.); however, there is no guarantee as these items come and go throughout the year. Age requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old. Credit card fee: All payments are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee. Rental agreement: A signed rental agreement is required upon booking. Monthly rentals: Not available. Cancellation policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit card processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made. Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments. We have dogs that love walks on the beach, and this home made walking with them so easy! It also was a bonus that we were so close to Richey’s as they have the best burgers in the area! The home was super clean and had everything we needed! The carpet in the master had some stains, but it smelled clean and I’m sure that carpet is something the owners will replace over time. The kitchen had everything we needed and the layout of the bedrooms is great for a large family! That said, if you have the amount of people the home sleeps (maybe 12?) you will be crowded in the living room as there is just a couch and 2 chairs. But who needs tv when the beach is steps outside your door! The backyard is private and we enjoyed many evenings on the covered back porch. We were so thankful to be able to spend two weeks in this beautiful home And hope to return in the spring! ##### Neile M. We had a wonderful vacation this week! The Sunshine Vacation Rental was very nice to work with. They were quick to respond with any answers or needs. The home we rented was perfect for our family. Mexico Beach is our new favorite. Our family owned a home for many years on 30A and we have fond memories but we won't be going back. She got married in Windmark just a short drive away. We have our own house in CSB but is currently condemned from erosion, so we know the importance of how it should make you feel! It far exceeded all our expectations. This house made us feel at home from the layout, bedrooms and even the backyard! Bonus for having it fenced in for our fur baby!!The proximity to the beach is phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about this property! Thank you for sharing your space for others to enjoy! It was an oversized decorative twin size couch. AC has difficulty cooling the additional rooms that are near the garage. When I called about it, I was told I would be charged if a service call was made to check the AC. I was shocked that as the guest I would have to pay for that. We decided to just deal with it and bought a fan to help cool the additional rooms. However, we enjoyed our stay and the location! Nice home that was very clean. They had plenty of towels for each bath and a good supply of all starter items in laundry, bath ,kitchen. We had a small issue with the AC not cooling very well and the management sent someone out promptly to check it. The only issue we had is the living room furniture. It is very sparse, only having an outdoor type sofa that is not comfortable at all for sitting and watching TV. I feel a house that offers week stays for 10-11 people should invest in some more substantial seating. Otherwise it is a great house in a great location with very easy beach access. ##### Kristan D.
