The house was clean and had a perfect location for our family to use the pool. The neighbors (the few that were around!) were friendly and helpful. The house was supplied with everything we needed. They only supplied us with two bath towels (for family of 5) so that was a challenge. Also, the washing machine did not work for our entire stay. Vacasa wasn’t the most efficient with communicating (it seemed like I was chatting with AI) and finally sent a repair person out after multiple points of communication. Over a month before our stay I sent messages via the app asking about how many towels were going to be available for use, whether or not there were laundry detergent packets available, and I asked about items in the kitchen that we would need to cook with because budget-wise going out to eat was not an option. Not one of those questions was answered. When we got there we realized there were minimal towels available, no laundry detergent, no dish soap, no sponge or brush to clean our dishes, and there were no spices and extremely basic minimal cookware to use. Also, given the pandemic situation we are in I expected to have cleaning supplies available. There were absolutely none. The purpose of a home away is not just to bypass hotels and stay in a home, but also to arrive in the home and not have to go buy dish soap and spices and cookware for the home we are only staying in for a short amount of time. We were not expecting to make those expenses and unfortunately there was nothing we could do about it except accept reality and head to the store. But it was very unfortunate because we had to skip an activity we previously planned because that money was used to buy things we never should have needed to buy in the first place. Definitely disappointed in our choice of lodging & none of us will be staying there ever again. ##### Kirstin-Tyler N. We came over to go scalloping and it was just a few minutes to the boat ramp. You can’t park right in front of the unit, but they had plenty of wagons to help haul your stuff. It was nice having the pool and hot tub right outside of the unit after being in the bay all day. Very quiet little community. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. ##### Sarah H. The only problem we had was that you can't park at the actual unit, you have to park in a parking lot and walk quite a ways to the unit. That is a pain when unloading and loading for a long trip.
