We’d received a text telling us the gate code, door code and confirmation code but didn’t know what to do with that info. The guy at the gate was extremely polite and helpful. He got us in the gate using the code we were sent and told us exactly how to find the house. When we arrived at the house I couldn’t help but sit back and listen to my kids excitedly run up and down the stairs! The pool was right out of our back door (a very short walk) and the beach was right behind the pool! I was very impressed! It exceeded the pictures from the post! The internet would not connect to the tv none of the network names existed, someone was suppose to come and fix but never showed up. The internet should be set up when we arrive. The grill outside did not work. The fridge did not get cold enough cold keep to our food and drinks in and it was on the highest setting. The washer would no drain and spin the clothes. Barrier Dunes is great - I love the short walk to the beach and the proximity to the state park. As with my prior stay, I found the townhome to be comfortable and nice. I'm not sure why this place gets so many bad reviews. It's true that it shows more wear than other units in Barrier Dunes where I've stayed - but those units are also more expensive. Personally, I think the trade-off for a lower price for a place with a little wear to be reasonable. I did take 1 star off due to the floors being a bit dirty. Feb 1, 2023 #### Great beach access! We had a great stay here. Condo was comfortable and very clean. The neighbors were were extremely kind and friendly. We only have two complaints: 1\. The dishwasher did not work and even after contacting rental company twice no one ever came out to fix it. 2\. The ice maker didn’t work. Bedding clean and nice. Clean bathrooms but could stand little bleach at base of shower. No hair dryer but i guess wasn't supposed to have bu4 i didnt catch that. Could use more silverware. Slow drain in shower. Some water/hot water issue but quick to respond..enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. ##### Cheryl H.
