We stayed at this property in January before the current owner purchased it, and we were happy to see it back on the rental market. First, Raj was quick to respond and great to work with; we couldn't have asked for any better. It is evident he is guest-focused. Samuel, the groundskeeper, was so friendly and helpful, and kept the beach looking good.
As for the house itself, first of all it was clean (I'm picky about that). The kitchen is equipped with about anything one would want in small appliances -- coffee maker, coffee grinder, food processor, toaster oven, fryer -- and plenty of plates, bowls, spices, containers for leftovers, etc. The washer and dryer allow one to pack food instead of a lot of clothes (and not much more than a bathing suit is needed anyway). The house is designed good for two or three couples as the master and the other bedrooms are separated by the living space.
The location was great for us. Beautiful views. Just walk out the door and down the walk, and you are on a nice, long beach that you can walk (or run) and usually never see another person. Make sure to day an early walk and watch the sun rise! Snorkeling right in front of the house is good. During this visit we saw a shark, turtle and barracuda, some very large lobsters, along with grouper, blue tang, parrotfish, cowfish, sergeant fish, etc.
Other notes: It's the Bahamas, and one can expect the electricity to go out periodically and the internet to go out with the electricity and other times. There are biting bugs that loved me but pretty much left the others in our group alone, so take bug spray. We had good meals at Da Pink Chicken and at Rollezz Villas Beach Resort. There are several sights worth seeing, and this trip we went to the beautiful beaches at Pigeon Cay and Greenwood.
If you are looking for a place in the Bahamas and want privacy, beach, and snorkeling, I recommend Almost Paradise villa -- as long as you don't book it when I want to stay there. We do plan to return.
