One thing I wasn't expecting was that even though you can see the water, and you're right next to a county park, that park doesn't actually have water access. We enjoy cooking and found the kitchen supplies on the low side, but still workable. The location is also good, in a nature setting but less than 5 minutes to a grocery store. The interior is beautifully decorated, cozy and spotless. Only feedback would be the difficulty of the keyless entry. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the beauty and charm of this place. The kitchen was well-equipped and we even had the luxury of using an airfryer (that we quite love). We spent our weekend watching movies and relaxing, and it was the perfect getaway from the chaos that is our life in the city. Despite feeling secluded, we were still close to grocery stores and other amenities. We will definitely be returning to this amazing retreat in the future. We usually stay at the Port Ludlow Inn if it’s just my husband and I. This time my son was coming with so this property was perfect for the 3 of us! It’s close to Port Hadlock for a run to the grocery store and/or a few eateries. The remodeled property was very cute and comfy. All the usual amenities were available throughout the space. We bring our own toiletries but those were also available along with individually sealed toothbrushes! My son enjoyed throwing the football around and generally playing around the property. Bikes were even available for use as well. The fire pit was perfect for making s'mores at night and just giving that chill-relax vibe while looking at all the stars on a clear, dark night. The only complaint that I would have is that the bed in the second bedroom was a bit noisy. My son still picked that room and said he slept fine. We would definitely return if we needed a place to stay other than our own property.
