I stayed budget hotels all the time this particular case it was horrendous. The rooms were filthy. The floors were wet when I went to get a shower. My feet were black from the dirt on the floor and to top it off. It actually had roaches in it and the towels, I wouldn’t use them to even clean my car. They were as brown as could be. We made our day to see someone joy helping the guest pride in her job. I had no cups for water no clock. There was no lightbulb in the lamp next to the bed. The shower was not clean and did not take a shower. The floor was sticky and I got bedbugs. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom, ceilings and cabinet holding refrigerator. Could not use the refrigerator due to an active leak that would not all the door to close. Neighbors next door must have been full time residents, they started fighting at 1am. Neighbors on other side must have been full time as well, they were hammering on the walls. The bed was stiff as a board and on a very squeaky metal box. Overall it was too expensive for the accommodation. We had changed our room. The one we were assigned next was better but it still stunk like smoke. I walked barefoot in the room and my feet were filthy. The bed was comfortable. We booked two hotel rooms and they were both disgusting. One smelled heavily of smoke even though there was a no smoking sign on the door. The sheets had burn holes in them and a dead cockroach was on the floor. Another perfect stay at Budget Inn Punta Gorda! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location is super convenient. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
