This tent site is situated only feet from the beautiful pebble beach with expansive views of the Canadian Cascades on Vancouver Island. Mount Baker is visible as well. \*note: You are able to drive up approx. 75-80 yrds from this site to unload, and parking for beach shelter sites(T11-14) are up a hill. \*No parking at this site.\*We have many tent sites so if the dates you are looking for are already taken, please give us a call about availability. We also have waterfront cabins and full hookup RV spaces. This primitive tent site includes a picnic table and a fire-pit as well as access to fresh water. There are a couple port-a-potties on the property. One on the beach for easy access. \*Showers are no longer available\* Located just 25 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay! Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rain Forest, Cape Flattery make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha and many more), kayak on Lake Crescent or drop right in the Strait from our private boat ramp. During the Winter and Fall, enjoy the true nature of the Pacific Northwest: observe the high tides, storm surges and occasional dense marine fog from the comfort of your cozy cabin. You are going to love this place! Guest Access: We live on the property and can be reached by phone if needed All self check in instructions are sent via email 3 days before arrival. Please be sure your email and phone number are updated on your Airbnb account. The Neighborhood: This is a quiet area with amazing views. We are remote and perfectly hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city. \*We are nestled in the middle of so many beautiful spots to visit here around the Olympic parks. Only 25-30 min to the breathtaking Lake Crescent. There are numerous hikes and places to explore there. Not much further from that is the entrance to Sol Duc. Going the other direction you’ll find the Olympic Hot Springs and be close to Hurricane Ridge entrance . Cape flattery or the Hoh rainforest are not to be missed if you’re headed towards Sekui or Forks area. \* There is a great little store only 8 min from our cabins , Joyce General, that closes at 8pm. We are only 25 min from Port Angeles so if you’re looking for more options be sure to hit Safeway or Walmart off 101 before heading in for the night. \* Blackberry Cafe is a nice option for a meal out that is only 5-8 min from us. Family Kitchen and the One Twelve are two others near our place. In Port Angeles you have everything from amazing burgers at the Next Door Gastropub, tasty BBQ at Coyote Grill, yummy seafood and steak at Kokopelli Grill, Pho that’s the best at New Saigon. For quick and easy on the pocketbook, Fast Burrito with fresh tasty Mexican food . Also Sabi Thai has stellar Thai food. New Day Eatery has breakfast and lunch only, and is very good! Off the 101 on your way to Lake crescent, try out Granny’s Cafe open during the summer season. Other Things to Note: \*T12 does not have parking at the site. We do allow you to unload your gear near the site, and the parking area is only a short walk. \*Bring your own tent, these are primitive sites with fire pits, shared outdoor toilet and access to fresh water. \*Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property. \*Tent sites are limited to 2 guests, or 1 family sleeping in one tent driving a single vehicle. (Max 4 guests at a site) For parties of multiple guests and vehicles please book an additional site or contact us directly. \*Bring your own fire wood, or we do have bundles available for purchase. \*There are now showers available for tent camping for a fee($3 per shower or $5 for 2 guests). \*To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is limited lighting. This is good to remember when you plan to arrive late after sunset. \*Most GPS software is giving incorrect directions to our location. As you near the property, be sure to follow the large red signs pointing to the right, and do not go up BeachComber drive to the left. Continue to follow signs to Whiskey Creek WEST side. Our office is right after you drive through the anchors. We will be ready to check you in there. Campsite about 1/3 full on a May Thursday. Felt safe and other campers/cabin renters were friendly. Campsites are fairly close together w no trees between, but great for beach. ##### Maude R. Perfectly close to salt creek recreation. Tide goes out early in the morning and you can access some cool tide pools right outside your tent too! Super close to Joyce and its charming general goods store. Thank you for letting us camp on this amazing property, we will definitely be back again! Lots of love and a 10/10 from your friends in Montana :) ##### Annalise F. Highly recommend tent camping here if you don’t mind a somewhat rustic experience (slot toilet, no running water). Hosts are kind and well organized, and the property is well maintained. Don’t agree with earlier review complaining about the sound of the ocean. I have been beach camping many places and the sound of the waves is not louder at this beach.. Don’t go to the forest and complain that there are trees and don’t go to the beach and complain about the sound of waves :-)! ##### Camparific Stayed 1 night in Jun 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Caitlin F. Jun 20, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful location! This place was beautiful and well managed. Safe, clean, with several cabins and tent spots across the property. The view from the site was incredible and the location can’t be beat. Bathrooms and amenities were clean and nice. I had a little trouble checking in because my welcome information email got stuck unsent, but I was able to get ahold of the host for the entry code reasonably quickly. I had a great time and will definitely be back. ##### Caitlin F. Apr 20, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location #### Near water and outhouse on private property This tent site is near the outhouse but you have to park far away. Not ideal for car camping with a tent and carrying all your necessary items that far like tent, sleeping and cooking items and food. Was pretty muddy but had wood deck to setup tent- very slick when wet- be careful. Critters were roaming the beach when dark. ##### Lisa D. Our stay on the t12 campsite was gorgeous. Campsite came with comfortable chairs and fire pit to protect fire from wind. It was also a very short walk to bathrooms, running water, and shower. Jul 12, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Absolutely loved it and will be back We LOVED our stay. This is a perfect quiet get away from it all kind of place. The beach is amazing and literally right under your tent. It is rustic, which makes it even more special since there are not that many places left that allow you to connect to the nature. All activities-attractions will require about 1h drive out through beautiful scenery, but the campsite itself is so beautiful you might want to just stay and enjoy the views, the sounds of the ocean and beach combing. Word of advice: bring a canopy. Even if you don’t believe in extras while camping you will appreciate one over your cooking area. Our first day was constant drizzle, which was super annoying while trying to cook, and in that area it’s literally a constant possibility. We will be better prepared next time as we are planning on coming back to this special spot many more times. ##### dariya m. Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Anne H. Jun 29, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful beach front campground! The resort is well maintained and has beautiful views! We had a perfect sunset from our campsite on the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. The tent sites have everything you could want from a campground- flat wooden platforms for patching a tent, chairs, picnic table, and a fire pit. Beautiful place to stay and we’ll worth the money! ##### Anne H. Stayed 1 night in Jun 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Kevin M. The views were gorgeous in every direction, and we enjoyed the seclusion of being on the end site of the campground (T12). The sound of the waves was a wonderful lullaby, but if you don't like white noise you may want to choose one of the tent sites more inland as the waves will be right next to your tent at high tide. Tim is an excellent host, and we can't wait to return! ##### Christine G. Stayed 1 night in May 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Bryan N. Feb 20, 2019 #### Amazing place! We had site 12 which is the last site so no one is walking through your space. I appreciated that. This is fairly primitive camping: pit toilet, no showers, so be prepared. And the ocean is loud!! I do admit that was a little difficult to manage, so I used earplugs. I believe the owner's kids checked us in, unless Tim is only 13 years old. However, he did a great job, as did his little sister. Thanks for the experience. ##### Cat M. Stayed 3 nights in Aug 2017 This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Chris T. Jul 24, 2017 #### Beautiful Beachfront Campsites My wife and I had a great time camping for two nights at Whiskey Creek Beach. The campsites are as close as you can get to the Strait of Juan de Fuca without getting wet, and they present great "tidepooling" opportunities if you get your timing right. The owners are very helpful and kind as well. I would recommend this destination to anyone. P.S. The fire pits are amazing! ##### Chris T. Overall it was a lovely place! The view is amazing and the hosts were very helpful and friendly! The sunsets were stunning, it was awesome to walk around during low tide and search for sea creature, there were very few bugs at the site, and our dog loved exploring the beach and campsite. There we're a few things we weren't expecting. We had to walk all of our stuff a fair distance to set up camp. We had the furthest campsite, but I guess we thought we'd be able to park our car at the site, like you can in a campground. We also weren't expecting the waves to be so loud - especiallly when the tide was coming in. Sometimes it was a little hard to carry on a conversation with the noise. I'm not sure it is always like that or just weather related but we should have considered this when picking out a site right on the water. All in all, we would recommend trying this place out! ##### Danielle P. This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Ashli-Marie G. Jul 6, 2017 #### Views! Camped in a tent spot with amazing beachfront/ocean view. Saw two bald eagles. Felt secluded but safe. Rare find. Will camp here again for future adventures ##### Kelli T. ## Expedia's Latest Trends ### Hotels > [Silver Reef Casino Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/Bellingham-Hotels-Silver-Reef-Casino-Resort.h16231932.Hotel-Information) > > [Best Western Plus Mountain View Auburn Inn](https://www.expedia.ca/Tacoma-Hotels-Best-Western-Plus-Mountain-View-Auburn-Inn.h5539311.Hotel-Information) > > [Best Western Plus Arlington/Marysville](https://www.expedia.ca/Everett-Hotels-Best-Western-Plus-ArlingtonMarysville.h7985203.Hotel-Information) > > [La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Auburn](https://www.expedia.ca/Tacoma-Hotels-La-Quinta-Inn-Suites-By-Wyndham-Auburn.h4735800.Hotel-Information) > > [Veranda Beach Cottages](https://www.expedia.ca/Oroville-Hotels-Veranda-Beach-Cottages.h36653077.Hotel-Information) > > [Hampton Inn & Suites Burlington](https://www.expedia.ca/Mount-Vernon-Hotels-Hampton-Inn-Suites-Burlington.h1500732.Hotel-Information) > > [Holiday Inn & Suites Bellingham by IHG](https://www.expedia.ca/Bellingham-Hotels-Holiday-Inn-Hotel-Suites-Bellingham.h13172389.Hotel-Information) > > [Little Creek Casino Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/Olympia-Hotels-Little-Creek-Casino-Resort.h5490123.Hotel-Information) > > [Legends Casino Hotel](https://www.expedia.ca/Toppenish-Hotels-Legends-Casino-Hotel.h64169765.Hotel-Information) > > [Tulalip Resort Casino](https://www.expedia.ca/Everett-Hotels-Tulalip-Resort-Casino.h2161524.Hotel-Information) > > [Majestic Inn & Spa](https://www.expedia.ca/Mount-Vernon-Hotels-Majestic-Inn-Spa.h1859284.Hotel-Information) > > [Holiday Inn Express & Suites Burlington by IHG](https://www.expedia.ca/Mount-Vernon-Hotels-Holiday-Inn-Express-Suites-Burlington.h281593.Hotel-Information) > > [Icicle Village Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/Leavenworth-Hotels-Icicle-Village-Resort.h1534248.Hotel-Information) > > [Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/Everett-Hotels-Angel-Of-The-Winds-Casino-Resort.h9689970.Hotel-Information) > > [Semiahmoo Resort Golf & Spa, Trademark Collection by Wyndham](https://www.expedia.ca/Bellingham-Hotels-Semiahmoo-Resort-Golf-Spa.h13986.Hotel-Information) > > [Comfort Suites Burlington near I-5](https://www.expedia.ca/Mount-Vernon-Hotels-Comfort-Suites-Burlington-Near-I-5.h33091850.Hotel-Information) > > [Sun Mountain Lodge](https://www.expedia.ca/Winthrop-Hotels-Sun-Mountain-Lodge.h1212928.Hotel-Information) > > [12 Tribes Omak Casino Hotel](https://www.expedia.ca/Okanogan-Hotels-12-Tribes-Resort-Casino.h10645725.Hotel-Information) > > [La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Marysville](https://www.expedia.ca/Everett-Hotels-La-Quinta-Inn-Suites-By-Wyndham-Marysville.h51830838.Hotel-Information) > > [Fairbridge Inn & Suites](https://www.expedia.ca/Leavenworth-Hotels-Fairbridge-Inn-Suites.h63001.Hotel-Information) > > [Longview Inn](https://www.expedia.ca/Longview-Hotels-Longview-Inn.h9812150.Hotel-Information) > > [Holiday Inn Express & Suites George Quincy South by IHG](https://www.expedia.ca/George-Hotels-Holiday-Inn-Express-Suites-George-Quincy-South-By-IHG.h51926191.Hotel-Information) > > [Enzian Inn](https://www.expedia.ca/Leavenworth-Hotels-Enzian-Inn.h13279273.Hotel-Information) > > [Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville by IHG](https://www.expedia.ca/Everett-Hotels-Holiday-Inn-Express-Suites-Marysville.h1752897.Hotel-Information) > > [Hampton Inn & Suites Leavenworth](https://www.expedia.ca/Leavenworth-Hotels-Hampton-Inn-Suites-Leavenworth.h19979907.Hotel-Information) > > [DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Vancouver](https://www.expedia.ca/Vancouver-Hotels-DoubleTree-By-Hilton-Hotel-Vancouver.h41770.Hotel-Information) > > [Holiday Inn Express & Suites Auburn Downtown by IHG](https://www.expedia.ca/Tacoma-Hotels-Holiday-Inn-Express-Suites-Auburn-Downtown.h37590454.Hotel-Information) > > [Salish Lodge & Spa](https://www.expedia.ca/Snoqualmie-Hotels-Salish-Lodge-Spa.h4779.Hotel-Information) > > [Suncadia Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Residence](https://www.expedia.ca/Ellensburg-Hotels-Suncadia-Resort.h1857788.Hotel-Information) > > [Tulip Inn](https://www.expedia.ca/Mount-Vernon-Hotels-Tulip-Inn.h872971.Hotel-Information)
