« The house was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the Quality Inn amenities across the street were perfect for starting a grueling hiking day. However, it was also very hot inside (78F)when we checked in, and with only one fan, it took a long time to cool it down enough for us all to sleep. It would be best if the owners provided more fans, or had the cleaning staff start airing the house out, before check in time. »

« Awesome location, and could grab breakfast at the inn across the street. It got a little warm while we were there and wished we had one more fan, but the standing fan provided did help. We had plenty of room and could walk to all the places in town. Would stay there again! »

« This is a hidden jewel and amazing property. The owner Don is wonderful and the property is beautiful and a very short drive to lake crescent and the olympic park. The place was incredibly clean and serene and enjoyed fresh apples and berries from his orchard. Price for what you get is amazing as well. Property is even better than the pictures. 5 star and highly recommend. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!! »

« 2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs....

« Amazing lake house! The views are spectacular and it is easy access to the lake. We rented kayaks/paddle boards and they delivered to the house. The house itself was beautiful and the owners did a great job having everything setup and were very responsive. Overall fantastic experience. We hope we can come back again! »

« My husband and I travel frequently and stay in private homes whenever possible. We would rate Chez Zig Zag in our top three. The host has provided everything you could possibly need or want. The accommodations are well designed and decorated. I loved the light-filled rooms especially the kitchen and bath. We loved it so much that we cancelled our planned day trip to Victoria so we could enjoy the surroundings. »
