Designed specifically as a rustic get-away for couples, it has its own secluded, private garden and terrace complete with BBQ and teak/cane garden furniture. The large (12x5) swimming pool is shared with the owners (an English couple) who live on-site. There is covered parking in a secure, walled courtyard at the front of the owner's house. The Little House was refurbished in 2021 with new bathroom, along with new bedroom and living room furniture. Supplies: General supplies like washing-up liquid, clingfilm & kitchen towel are provided, along with a few essentials to get you started - wine, tea, coffee, milk, bread, biscuits etc. There is a hairdryer (so you don't need to take up luggage space with one!) The garden: One of the big attractions of this property is its garden which is full of plants and colour. Vines, wisteria, roses, kiwis and campsis trail over shade-providing pergolas and the flower beds are full of interest. Apart from its large swimming pool, the highlight of the garden is its rockery, where a stream runs through a series of waterfalls. The stone-walled, front courtyard is secured by attractive metal gates. Here there is covered parking for 3 cars with plenty of room for other cars elsewhere. House hunting: The cottage is ideally situated for house hunting across the whole of Istria. The owners, who live on site most of the year, have recently moved to Croatia and are happy to share their house-hunting expertise and put you in touch with reputable local agents, if you should require. Inside there is a large bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm), open-plan living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Das „Little House“ ist tatsächlich ein kleines Paradies im Hinterland von Porec innerhalb eines wunderschönen und sehr gepflegten Landschaftsgartens mit einem großen, sehr sauberen Pool und mehreren Terrassen. Von hier aus sind viele malerische Orte innerhalb von 30 bis 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Nicky und Phil sind sehr liebenswürdige und herzliche Gastgeber, die uns mit einem „welcome package“ ausgestattet haben und jederzeit für Tipps ansprechbar waren. Sehr dankbar waren wir für den Pool, den wir immer nutzen konnten, was bei den heißen Temperaturen mehr als angenehm war. Das Häuschen ist mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Küchengeräten, Büchern und CDs. Auch umfangreiches Prospektmaterial und eine sehr ausführliche und mit viel Herzblut erstellte Infomappe liegen bereit. Da die Räume durch Fensterläden und eine Klimaanlage kühl gehalten werden konnten, war die Hitze auch gut auszuhalten. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und kommen sehr gerne wieder! ##### Monika L. This has to be the best equipped and generously provisioned holiday cottage we have stayed in. Everything has been thought of - from swimming towels to beach cushions, a good range of cookware and books to read. There is a completely private seating area behind the cottage, as well as a lovely porch overlooking the garden, and seating around the pool. The garden is a feature of the property, a beautiful, restful space with an abundance of interesting insects and birds. Porec is a nice place for a stroll and the Basilica is well worth a visit. The cottage is well placed in the countryside close to the motorway exit, so ideal for further exploration, and Nicky and Phil are readily available if needed for recommendations and help, whilst happy to leave their guests to enjoy their stay at their own pace. ##### Karen A. Das wunderschöne Ferienhaus liegt im hinteren Teil des großzügig und idyllisch angelegten Gartens hinter dem Haus der Vermieter. Der liebevoll gepflegte Garten mit den Stauden, den Blumen, den Kräutern, den Mäuerchen und dem „englischen Rasen“ ist eine Augenweide! Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, in der Küche fehlt nichts, das Bad ist sehr gepflegt und das Schlafzimmer ist sehr romantisch. Hinter dem Haus ist ein privater, sehr gemütlicher Gartenbereich. Danke auch für den bei Anreise gefüllten Kühlschrank! Der fantastische Pool ist sehr groß, angenehm temperiert und sehr sauber. Die gemeinsame Nutzung des Pools mit den Vermietern ist sehr unkompliziert! Das Anwesen liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Im etwa 10 km entfernten Poreč kann man gut einkaufen. In der Umgebung finden sich schöne Städtchen und kleine Buchten mit wunderbar blau leuchtendem Meer. Nicky und Phil sind sehr sympathische Vermieter. Das Miteinander ist sehr entspannt, rücksichtsvoll und diskret. Bei Fragen konnten wir die beiden jederzeit ansprechen und erhielten rasch Hilfe und gute Ratschläge. Es ist wunderbar, dass man einerseits in dem Anwesen sehr gut für sich allein sein kann und andererseits das schöne Gefühl hat, dass in der Nähe zwei freundliche Menschen sind, die dort auch sehr gerne leben. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und uns prächtig erholt! Dies ist ein sehr friedvolles Fleckchen Erde, Nicky und Phil haben dort ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. We enjoyed the stay in this wonderful lovely house. The house is clean, well equipped and lovely styled. The garden is so wonderful and we enjoyed the big pool. Nicky and Phil are so freindly and we did not disturb each other but could be go in contact everytime when we had a question. The pool and the garden we had nearly for ourselve. In the back of the house we had our private garden where we could have our breakfast and dinner with a BBQ. In the evening we could sit on the porch and enjyo the big garden. The pool we have used at least three times a day. The location in Istria is perfect star point from where we could reach every corner of Istria in a shortest time. Two days we have used to enjoy the garden and the pool, while the other days we went out for sightseeing, walking at the seaside, climbing up a mountain or did a motorboat ride arround Kap Kamenjak. Nicky und Phil haben dort ein kleines Paradies geschaffen und uns gern daran teilhaben lassen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Das kleine Haus und das Grundstück ebenfalls. In nur 15 Min. ist man in Porec mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt, um Istrien zu erkunden. Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Gartenanlage mit großem privaten Schwimmbad. Das Ferienhaus ist komplett ausgestattet incl. Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer. Obwohl die Gastgeber Nicky & Phil selbst auf dem Anwesen im sep. Haus wohnen hatten wir niemals (!) das Gefühl gestört, geschweige beobachtet zu werden. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und standen bei offenen Fragen immer zu Verfügung. Ein idealer Ort um abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Nicky und Phil sind immer Immer hilfsbereit , sollte was am Haus fehlen . Beide sprechen englisch und kein Deutsch . WLAN im Haus ist vorhanden und funktioniert einwandfrei. Ein kleiner Snack und einer Flasche Wein stand für uns am Tag der Ankunft bereit. Tipps zum einkaufen und Ausflüge liegen im Haus . Wir empfehlen Konoba Monica . Klar sind beide immer Present, stören aber auf keine Weise irgendwie. Man hat ja 2 Terrassen und kann sich jederzeit zurückziehen. Bettwäsche und genügend Handtücher waren immer vorhanden. Den Pool konnten wir jederzeit abdecken wenn wir baden wollten bzw wenn wir spät von Ausfügen wiederkamen wurde für uns geöffnet. In der Nacht wird er abgedeckt und früh von Phil gereinigt.Im Haus war es auch bei 30 Crad noch recht angenehm. Wir haben uns noch einen Lüfter mitgenommen , da wir wussten das keine Klima vorhanden ist. Für uns perfekter Urlaub in der Coronazeit . Wenn jemand Phil eine Freude machen möchte bringt ihm Weißbier mit .:-). Danke für diese Zeit . Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder . ##### sven M. Séjour de 13 nuits en août 2020
